Do you hate yourself after blowing a pile of stubs on packs and not pulling anything?
-
Over the last three nights I pulled Arenado, Arenado, and Trout just last night. I've worked the market for the last three years to gain my cards, and I'm tired of it. Now I work the market to buy packs, and am really enjoying myself. LS is completed, and I've got about 350 in my pocket.

When I open a free pack and get 3 commons and a Bronze, it reminds me to never, ever bother to pay for them.
I love opening packs, but I will never pay stubs for them.
-
Nah I hate them and the fraud set up that are sports gaming packs but not myself. It’s just a game with not much to really need stubs for anyway.

It’s literally like gambling. You have to realize there is a risk you will lose everything, but the chance of a high reward. If you start ripping packs and expect to pull the highest priced diamonds, you’re gonna be very disappointed.
It’s not anything at all like gambling. I feel like people that use this analogy don’t actually gamble or know how it works. The packs in this game are far worse than gambling. If gambling was like these packs Vegas would be shut down.
Just know if you open packs with stubs in this game after the first week you are 100% guaranteed to lose stubs. Stop buying them and make them change it.

I think it goes back to the physical pack opening of "real" baseball cards. Lots of gamblers in that realm.

Tried Headliner packs. Instant regret. Got one gold.
-
Can't say I've ever experienced this issue. Perhaps you need to buy better packs?

What do you do when you gamble? Let’s use a slot machine for instance. You’re putting money into a machine, trying for a chance to win more money. Now, opening packs. You’re buying packs with stubs, some people real money, for a chance to hit big on a diamond card like Trout, Bellinger, Cole, Arenado. So saying opening packs isn’t like gambling is very ignorant. You must not gamble that much lmao

I gamble a lot and you don’t understand it. You couldn’t find a casino open that pays you the payout for odds these packs do. Find a casino that’s open that pays you 10-15% of your money back 90% of the time and gives you 80% of your money back 9% of the time and pays you 5 times your money 99% of 1% of the time. and anybody who pulls packs know they don’t perform even at those posted rates. You won’t find it.

You literally just supported my argument that opening packs in this game is like gambling. The only difference is the odds and a casino. If you gamble then you know the rush of winning big and not wanting to stop. Well, compare that to pulling Trout and wanting to keep opening packs to press your luck. Like seriously how do you not see the similarities???
-
It’s 100% gambling, without a doubt. Some people can control the additive nature of gambling others cannot. I’ll buy a headliner or two if the reward is juice other than that it’s free packs only. Despite that blue flash rush , I just know better
-
I open packs daily, I usually have great luck. But if I don't, who cares. All the best cards in the game, minus a few collection rewards, are free anyway. Stubs are pretty pointless if you're willing to grind to unlock cards.
-
No because I don’t buy packs. I have not bought a single pack this year. Only opened what I’ve earned. And I’ve hardly got anything from those packs so I’m glad that I haven’t bought any packs.
-
Last headliner pulled a Chapman and a flaherty out of the 5 packs wen they dropped. Bought a twenty bundle yesterday pulled lindor and Baez before the tenth pack got ripped. Made a profit of 35k. Copped another twenty bundle got a few golds. But really only lost out on 12k as of writing.
