Remove All Star difficulty from Ranked Seasons

Let us choose... it would take longer based on the level to accomplish rewards just like MTO

Sorry, but if you're not good at the game, you shouldn't be catered to. That's exactly what AS difficulty is, catering to those who either don't put the time in to get better or simply suck. I don't care if this comes off as elitist. You can have no skill at still win against far superior players on AS difficulty. That is the exact opposite of what ranked seasons in supposed to be.
I agree that it happens too much in this years game, but at the end of the day, it’s baseball dude, that happens in real life, it’s realistic. That’s why they measure BABIP, based on luck. Sometimes a guy squares a ball up and hits it right at someone and sometimes a guy barely gets a piece and hits a dribbler down the line for an infield single. Idk if I’m alone here, but that’s what makes baseball unique and awesome.

Yeah all star is rough, every game is 16-15 or something crazy. I went on a really bad skid this ranked season and lost like 9/11 games on all star but finally made it back to the division series, and I’m a win away from CS.

I’m not debating your points. I’m just saying we are all in the same boat. I agree with the others. It makes more sense to just fix All Star, rather than to do away with it.
Also, not to be that guy, but by your numbers this year, ERA 5.13 and WHIP 1.24 you are the definition of average. You’re obviously a better than average hitter at .310 so climbing through AS shouldn’t be that tough?
I would love it if AS was fixed. Unfortunately I believe it’s designed to be that way.
As far as my stats, go check out the top of the leaderboards in ranked and you’ll see my ERA is right on par with some of the top players. Not that it matters really, I’m just saying
LOL that's not how it works. If those "top players" have inflated ERAs because they are playing other top players, you have the same ERA playing much lower competition. It's like trying to claim a 4.00 ERA in AA is the same as a 4.00 ERA in MLB.

You realize that people arent good at this game and dont sweat and just play this game for fun.
Then have a mode that is strictly for fun where you can play online against other people who just want to have fun. To me, competition is fun, and AS difficulty is not competitive.
I've said in a previous comment that I understand AS will never be removed. However HOF should start at 600 as opposed to 700. Then you people who love AS so much can still play the mode and people like me who hate it won't have to play on AS
I made world series last year, great, I bet you did too with stats that are "similar to the best" When your era is north of 4. Like when the season resets you start at 700, which is hof so you never play all-star when the season resets. If you don't have to deal with it, then why you bitching
Not true at 700 you can play people in the 600s easily even if you don't let the bar move. Its frustrating to play All Star, way to much RNG
It really isn't, during the first ranked season I didn't loose until I played on hof. It's really not that hard. Idk why you all are bitching so much

What they should do is once you hit 700 you only play on HOF and never play anyone in the 600's. The only way someone has to play on AS is if they are rated 699 or below.

At least make it so that the HIGHER RANKED TEAM dictates the difficulty, rather than the lower ranked team.

All-Star would be fine if we didn’t have the game trying to control what happens. Like mentioned earlier in this post the majority of players play at AS and they’ve clearly tuned the gameplay to play favorites at particular times so everyone feels like a winner. To me the problem would easily be fixed if the players themselves were in more control of the game than the simulation factor they’ve put in place to retain players.

Imagine living in a world where you don't like something that displays the talents of Mr. Baseball himself. Probably the same type of person who is like "Vegan cheese is real cheese!" when it's clearly not.
