Anyone got any recommendations about a good gaming chair or even an office chair. I play at a desk on a monitor, have been using an old office chair for years but it’s pretty wore out. I bought an xrocker gaming chair when it was clearanced. The chair was really nice, very sturdy, very comfortably padded, had really cool features like Bluetooth speakers that would connect to the ps4, could plug headset directly in the chair, could even charge phone with the chair. However I have a bit of a bad lower back and the xrocker was a curved rocking chair type chair. That shape just would not work for me. So I returned it and went back to the office chair. I then bought an gtracing gaming chair. This chair was straight backed and thought it would work well. After a couple days it just wasn’t comfortable, the back was nice but my rear end (hard to find a word to describe it that wasn’t censored on here) would be sore or go numb from it. I have heard you should expect a chair to make you sore at 1st and to give it a solid 2 week trial. So I stuck with the chair for 2 weeks but the issues only got worse, so I returned it. Ordering through amazon as the virus makes it unsafe to actually go try out chairs. Also few stores have much selection in store. So anyway, long story short, I’m going to try ordering another chair hopefully for $200 or less. Anyone have a suggestion for a really comfortable one to try. Comfort is most important, not as worried about other features like speakers this time around. Would love one that has a large range for height adjustment and would love one where you could lock the chair in a slightly leaned back angle, not just lean the chair back down but lock the whole chair at an angle. Any tips?

If you are planning on really giving it all and going flawless in BR and being top 50, you may have to sacrifice a bit of comfort for convenience but some Twitch streamers recommend something like this one:

I brought the GT Omega Pro. Wasn't the cheapest option and it doesn’t have the speakers, but it’s extremely comfortable, every part you can imagine is adjustable for comfort, which was important for me and it’s really durable and hard wearing. I’ve had it a year or so and it’s still like new, no wearing, fading or tears. As I say, you can adjust the height, tilt, arms and so on and it’s suitable for a taller person (I’m almost 6’), whereas most of these chairs seem designed for children or midgets. I’d definitely recommend it if you need a gaming chair.

Look for a used one? As they’re pretty tough, you should find one around in good condition.

Thanks for the suggestion, I would prob prefer to try a different brand than gtracing since that’s one of the brands I tried, but may look into the model you suggested. Appears like it may not be available on Amazon anymore?

I’m in England, got mine from a store called Game that have a deal with them, but you can order direct from the manufacturer afaik.

@ComebackLogic were you originally from the states? Just trying to figure out your love for baseball over there. Are Europeans really picking up the game like football I guess (the international games must be working)

Not being an a$$ just curious

They started showing it night on TV back in the late 90’s here. 15 year old me would sit there with a huge pile of hot dogs and watch Griffey, Bonds and McGwire rip dingers. Had a friend who also used to watch and we ended up buying a couple of bats and balls and playing on the park as well.

I don’t follow any other sport really. I dislike cricket and rugby and I don’t follow soccer too closely these days. I usually watch baseball streams at night while I’m grinding the show, but not this year obviously 😔

I rewatched the Nike tribute to Jeter today and Bob Sheppard just brings a tear to my eye. I use to hate Jeter but wow... crazy game we love

    & miss

Now I understand that the hate was passion

I had a chair but man it's freakin broke. I mean I paid $100 for this chair and I can't even catch a fly ball properly. What's up with the pitching? @SDS_Jax Fix My Chair!
