best The Show classic cards for xp path?
-
At Silver 25 you get to choose again, and the first time I took the Victor Robles. He's pretty good, but I think this time around, I will select the Gary Sanchez, because he is a monster in these games.
Any feedback on Mondesi, Reyes, Morton?
-
The general consensus on the forums is that:
Mondesi is a glitch.
Reyes is trash.
Morton's stamina out of the BP is good...if you need a reliever.Personally, I have Mondesi and he's great.
-
Mondesi and Sanchez are by far the two best. I'll occasionally start the Sanchez over the 99 Posey for his power. Reyes is a nightmare to control and Morton is extremely easy to hit.
-
Mondesi all the way. Speed, contact, defense won't ruin your infield, surprising pop especially from the left side. Others have mentioned he has a "glitchy" swing, not sure what this means exactly but he seems to play far above his numbers. Highly recommended.

Mondesi, Sanchez, Morton, Robles, Reyes in that order
-
wow this is awesome feedback you guys are great

For the record, I love Robles, but at this point in the year, you probably have better OF options available. That Sanchez power will be useful all year, so that's something to keep in mind too!
-
Mondesi is literally one of the best cards in the game. Shouldn't be, but he is. His swing is so glitched, everything is a rocket... As it has always been
-
Reyes has been my best starter.

Reyes is amazing wtf are you smoking. He's the only starter I have who has a sub 4 ERA. Morton is best used I've found as an opener.
With that said, I've heard nothing but positive things about Mondesei despite his attributes.

Mondesi is outstanding and plays so much better than his hitting attributes indicate. His speed is outstanding and even when he leaves your starting lineup he's an outstanding bench option with his positional flexibility and switch hitting and pinch running ability.
I haven't used Charlie Morton but avoid him at all costs, he's trash, every time he's brought into a game I destroy him, so easy to hit for some reason.
Sanchez seems to crush me.
Robles I've faced a bunch and he's never hurt me.
Reyes I've never faced or used in 20.
-
Mondesi is probably the best option since he hits better than you'd expect and has top end speed which is always nice.
I loved that Robles card from 18 (i think?) But I thought I remembered his speed being higher in the original release. He was a good lead off option for me that year.
No comment on Morton, I've never used him.
Reyes.......I love to hate him. He was my pick since my SP was pretty weak when I got my first option so he was an upgrade over anything I had at this point. His control is straight garbage though which is compounded in this game since your user input gets overridden hard even with perfect releases. Has electric stuff though.
Sanchez is also a great selection. His vs Right numbers are so much better than vs left (contact wise) which is fine since you see a lot of righties and a lot of people will bring out righties to face him. Can absolute mash. I would have taken him I think but I use CAP at C because its more fun and C is usually the weakest/hardest position to fill imo. -
Have you done the Yankees TA mission yet? Sanchez would count for it if you haven't.

The better teams get blockbusters.
The lesser teams like the Marlins get good and IMO realistic offers like Tommy Pham, Marcell Ozuna and Carlos Martinez.Idk about that. Im doing a rockies MTO currently and I have got Didi Gregorius(realistic), Tony watson (Realistic), and Yelich for Brendan Rodgers and some garbage lol

The best are clearly Jose Ramirez, George Springer, and Eric Thames bud
