SDS LITERALLY STOLE FROM ME AND SAID SO WHAT?!?!
-
I purchased dozens of cards that show in completed purchases. Stubs deducted. Cars NOT anywhere in my inventory. Ticket submitted. Someone emailed me and said they cannot support my claim??!! I literally sent screenshots of the completed purchases along with screenshots showing I do not “own” these cards. I am LIVID!!!!! I’m talking a couple hundred thousand stubs GONE WITH NO CARDS!! WHAT DO I DO?

My take on this might be a bit unusual, but I think of this again as the trinkets that SDS dangles for purchase are precisely worthless junk purchased by worthless pseudo currency. The only actual investment on your part was the time you spent earning the stubs.
This is why people need to get back to some good old-fashioned common sense. You buy a video game to play the game to have fun. It is not supposed to serve as some grand experiment in financial transactions. And yet, that's exactly what SDS has turned their once marvelous baseball video game into -- some junk post sale transaction hub, selling and buying worthless junk with worthless junk fake currency.
What should you do?
Ask yourself a basic question. Do you enjoy actually playing the baseball games presented in this baseball video game? If the answer is yes, then play those games and completely forget about these micro transactions. If the answer is no, then stop playing the game and never purchase another release until SDS stops this nonsense and puts their own old-fashioned hard work into making their game the best it can be.

Thanks for the comment. I agree wholeheartedly. That said, these are stubs I spent time earning as well as paid for. They can’t just ignore that?? That’s literally theft!!!
-
Yes and no. In a purely moral sense, it is theft. They robbed you of your time by dangling something you wanted in front of you and then reneging on the deal. Whether intentional or accidental, it is still theft in that regard. But, in a legal sense, the items have no value and the currency has no value and therefore, per the terms of law, there is no theft at all.
To be theft, the items denied have to have actual value. Now, if you paid currency for these stubs, then I hope you learned how your hard earned money is worth far more than this virtual junk that SDS is peddling, and shame on SDS for continuing to do this.
I'm no fan of SDS. I stopped being one a few years ago. They need to just get back to making a baseball video game that is the very best at replicating the actual game of baseball, not some junk version of the New York Stock Exchange and Macy's! SDS has obsessed this year on one thing and one thing only -- trying to defeat the bots that have harmed the profits they calculate they can derive from the community market. If SDS had put a fraction of that work into fixing the myriad of bugs in the game and crafting actual improvements in the game engine and graphics, then we might have a game worth buying!
Everyone should take good heed of your experience. I think you've been treated horribly and SDS needs to take this experience seriously. But, the customers need to take it more seriously and answer it by refusing to patronize this game until it stops trying to be something other than a plain high quality baseball video game.

@DF8th_PSN -- Can you give me your ticket number?
-
@DF8th_PSN
SDS JoeK is a community representative of SDS; he will be able to help you more than support tickets. It is not a trick; he has helped multiple people here, myself included. Write him back, and he will help you. -
That's unacceptable. How are they even allowed to say that?
Hopefully justice gets served to you.
