Spooky program request - Pls. make more than way to finish it

I did not play last year, but two years ago the only way you could get the final card in the Spooky program was to do a showdown. I am have no luck with showdowns whatsoever. Not being able to finish that program was one of the reasons why I did not play last year. So if there are to be showdowns involved here, please make an alternate way to complete the program. Please. Thx.

I could be wrong, and someone here can verify this for me... but isn't the conquest repeatable for 20 points?

I'm surprised there isn't a longish stat mission alternative for those who don't want to play a certain mode.
I don't mind conquests and mini seasons, however the idea of spending hours on a DQ tomorrow (with no guarantee of getting the cards even if you win) does not appeal at all.
At least with todays mini season, you can finish the program pretty easily and quickly rather than having to finish the entire thing to get the 20 points.
Overall I like what they're doing this week, but yes, I think they'll missed a beat forcing people into certain modes if they wish to finish the program.

We don't know what the final program will be like, there could be a repeatable at the end, or some online alternative.
But SDS does love having people play modes they don't enjoy, so who knows.

So what am I missing here? Play mini seasons to get McGwire or play the map again? It’s so unclear to me.

Super easy and props to them for that because I know a lot of full online guys hate mini seasons.I hope they do something similar for DQ because i'm not spending hours on a DQ map in the hope of getting a card.

This is why theres no grinding left in the game. Every single time that you ask people to do a specific thing in the game, they complain. Its always "why cant I just do only the one thing I like and get all the rewards"

I got the Bucholz card with 1 Mini-Seasons game on Veteran!
Won 8-0. Finest Griffey Jr. hit a GS at Shea Stadium. It was glorious.
1518 PXP. Not bad. I was shocked to see the card at the end!
Spooky Sheffield and Brian Roberts may be needed for that last collection. -

I could see DQ giving Spooky players for a reward. I find it very hard to believe that they would require a DQ to finish the program. If they do then I will say thank you to them for making McGwire the 2nd reward

I could see them attaching it to the lesser reward slot, but even that is still RNG in most cases. If they do that then I suspect the last day will have something that gives an option to skip one of the modes

I love Conquests and Mini Seasons but I dread Diamond Quests so much that I end up making mental errors.

There are different levels of players in this game and, as this is several different offshoot games in one, you can’t expect everyone to be able to play everything. You already have programs like ranked and events where you can earn cards exclusive to that area. But if you have a program you expect everyone to play then make it something everyone can play, not only a segment.

The spooky could be like the first DQ. Pretty much guaranteed as long as you beat the two teams

@rubicante23_PSN So maybe stop asking people to do specific things? He's not asking to do less. He's asking to not have to do a specific thing (which absolutely sucks). Showdowns, moments, and Diamond Quest are fine as shortcuts to programs, but they should never be REQUIRED for a program. And you can't promote "play your way" and then get offended when people complain when you make the game anything but. EVERY reward should either be sellable or not require moments, showdowns, and/or DQ. Period.

Here we go with the "play your way" stuff again. When "play your way" was mentioned it was in regards to the new Multiplayer program for online play. I haven't been able to find any evidence that they ever promoted "play your way" in reference to other programs besides the multiplayer one. If anyone has evidence of that please share it.
Also, it's completely impossible for all of Diamond Dynasty to be "play your way". Because then every card would have to be obtainable by barely even playing the game at all. There will always be someone out there who can't or does not want to do certain parts of the game.
