I cannot confirm the methodology presented in this link. In fact, I read the information for the first time at the Reddit sub-forum devoted to MLB The Show. That said, the information provided is fascinating and portends to illustrate with significant evidence that currently about 30% of high ranking players are cheating, and that this number is below that of the first few weeks of season releases, where the percentage may climb to forty percent.

It would seem to me that whether 30% or 40% of high ranked players, the situation is worse than I would have thought it was. As I have written before, in my mind at least, there is absolutely nothing offered as "rewards" in online play that justifies employing dark web cheat schemes. But, I'm also not entirely shocked that in today's world where morality seems to have fallen to a shockingly low and self-serving level, we see evidence of a very significant share of the top players employing cheating options.

This is pretty interesting and confirms what I have assumed all along. The vast majority of the cheating is only taking place in the very high levels. They of course need to continue to do everything they can to put a stop to it. At the same time, it's good to know that for most of us that don't play at those levels it's very unlikely we are running in to cheaters often.
