How about fixing the bs hitting engine. I didn't play for almost 2 weeks. Jump back in and every at bat on HoF foul foul foul foul foul check swings check swings foul very late hit or sub 90 HR with a 10 pci rating. Then perfect out good squared out. It's a joke, if they can't make the game play correctly who cares what they add. Make a quality game that plays like YOU the company actually say it does. 35 fouls for both teams in a real MLB game. 80+ is the standard on the show. It's atrocious.

A random feature I think would be cool to implement is an attribute difference for pitchers vs left and right. The hitters get them, since some players perform better vs right or left, obviously, but pitchers are the same way. As a Phillies fan im always hearing about how Zack Wheeler is particularly dominant against right handed batters to where his stats really show it, and I know a lot of other pitchers have big splits, often reverse ones. I think it would just add an extra element into planning out bullpens and pitching staffs and make matchups a little more interesting.

It just doesn't make sense to say your adding 50 new animations and "better fielding reactions" when fielding is a little to good now. The 2 step shot stop/2nd base line out catch on a perfect is crazy, diving plays at least 5 times a game, like come on now. Tweak hitting to increase % hit on good squared and perfects, as well as tweak the inconsistencies in the hitting. Played yesterday and I won 4-2, but still felt grossed out when I had a good squared with Harper on a low away sinker in the top bottom square of the strike zone that was 85mph ev and had a 12 pci rating. That is just crazy to me. Don't get me wrong I love The Show, but it's about gameplay quality and updating the out dated franchise experience for me that is a let down.

Being able to sort players in Fantasy Drafts and a "start today" feature in franchise is a pathetic wish list, but gotta set the bar low for sports games in 2026.

I think something cool to add to franchise mode would be players' primary positions changing based on how many innings they play at a certain position. Like, if I play a primary CF in LF for the season, LF would now be the primary because that is where the majority of the season was played. This feature could also include adding secondary positions. Say I play someone who is only listed at SS at 3B for a certain amount of innings, 3B would become a secondary position. It would kind of be like this player is learning a new position, where the more they play there, the more comfortable they get, and the better defence they will play there. I think this could also work for pitchers, where if they reach a certain amount of starts in a season, they will be a SP. Same sort of thing for a RP, but this time it's a certain amount of bullpen outings. I also think that the stamina attribute should reflect a pitcher's recent workload. Say a SP is moved to the bullpen, and has been throwing in a few short outings, maybe 1-2 innings each. Instead of the stamina staying in the 60-70 range, it would fall to the 30s. This could also make it feel like when you are stretching out a RP into a SP, you are actually stretching out a RP into a SP, making it more realistic (instead of bumping up the attribute manually). I don't know how hard these would be to add to the game, but there is a similar system already, with the two-way status thing. Regardless, I think that the mode will feel much more realistic with these features, so, yeah.
I would also like to see actual broadcasters in the game, like FOX, TNT/TBS, MLB Network, Sportsnet, etc. I do not know what the cost for those rights would be, but hopefully it is cheap enough for SDS to make some deals and include in The Show 27. It would be really cool.

I just made a topic about that. You’re exactly right that has been a thing for a while that people wanted. We need to change in 27. Listen you can’t have every team’s announcers that’s fine. At least put Joe Davis one of the best announcers in baseball. We need a new scoreboard too. Imagine having the fox scoreboard. It would be nice to have a new scoreboards at least for the postseason. You know how much more fun the game would be forget about it.
