I thought this was an interesting fact

[Dolenz_PSN]

Alex Burleson led all of MLB with 116 RBIs

The last time a Cardinal player led the MLB in RBIs was in 1971 and the player was Joe Torre.

What I found interesting is that in his dominant years in St Louis, Albert Pujols never led the MLB in RBIs. In fact, he only led the NL once in RBIs with 118.

Here are his RBI Totals in St Louis

2001: 130
2002: 127
2003: 124
2004: 123
2005: 117
2006: 137
2007: 103
2008: 116
2009: 135
2010: 118 (The Year he led the NL)
2011: 99

Hard to fathom that none of these totals ever led MLB and only one led the NL

@Dolenz_PSN RBI totals in general are down in the MLB.

If you look at those totals, he would have led the league this year in 8 of those years.

EDIT: I can't count.
