I don't see it anymore disrespectful than the non-negro league legends and hall of famers in the same boat. Most if not all should get their high end cards and 90% of those will be dismissed as unusable by the hardcore players

Negro leaguers never handled properly, Captains being phased out, Team Affinity Phased out, Market is in shambles due to bots (although at least Manu is trying). The game is an absolute boring mess and has been now for several years. Its the only game I play. Something drastic needs to be done here to right the ship.

It’s kinda odd how they “segregate” the negro leaguers form the rest of the game. Why couldn’t a biz Mackey or cool papa bell or any of the other great players be sprinkled in here and there in programs and as ranked reward or inning path , multiplayer etc. you have to exit diamond dynasty to play a totally seperate storyline mode to even k ow those cards exist or interact with them. The storylines was cool to start but ran stale, boring slog of missions. And not one has cracked a red diamond and we already blew past when a lot of them would have made teams into 99 power creep. It’s really horribly mismanaged with a sds team that’s all white face they show the public. It’s just another example of a horribly mismanaged once great game, still lots of potential for the ball the be picked up

I think SDS is making us feel what the Negro League players felt like: knowing we deserve something but making us wait.

It's just not Negro League Players. Here is the whole list of players considered legends in the game still waitinh for better cards
Ignore the Hank Aaron at 83 but do see that Henry Aaron only has a 91.
Every Player with an * is a Hall OF Famer.

@Dolenz_PSN By definition, Negro League are different from other Legends. I can’t fault SDS for releasing an end game Trevor Hoffman or Ken Singleton before releasing an end game Nolan Ryan or JR Richards. Thats more of a [censored] shoot.
But Negro League players are a unique and distinct feature in this game. We aren’t arguing that ALL end game Negro League players should be released already, but that once end game-caliber cards start getting released, Negro League players should be sprinkled in with them. We shouldn’t have to wait for the end of the game cycle to use an end game Negro League player.
If you think of the Negro League series as its own team, like the Yankees, Braves, etc., the Negro League team would be the only team without a 99 overall. Some teams have more than others, but a fan of any major league team that plays this game has a least couple end game caliber cards of their favorite team that they can use. Negro League fans have none.

While he isn't in the HOF; we only have the Red Sox LS Collection Fred Lynn.
And we need Dwight Evans sometime.
Would absolutely LOVE an outfield of Rice, Lynn, and Evans!
