No major content two weeks in a row?

@Sarge1387_PSN I haven't played a non-sports game since GTA San Andreas (had a break, then played 2K for a decade, before moving to this game last year), but i am resigning myself to the fact i will probably order the new GTA given the state of this game and the lack of other viable sports titles (viable in that they're not predatory or focused on microtransactions).

@Sarge1387_PSN glad I didn’t buy I had a feeling just based off Trailers. Didn’t look to appealing to my that’s why I went with 2k. Glad with the choice I made. Just from the trailer I saw graphics looked rough they looked like some nhl slap shot graphics and I know to me personally graphics aren’t over important that was more the icing on the cake after them fumbling franchise connected.

There still is lag with the blur. Good concept bad execution. My timing is better without the blur. I'm always late on everything when I turn it on
Which console are you on? On my Series X I have had 0 issues with the blur and no dread lag either.

GTA will also be predatory and full of microtransactions. Its the same company as 2K after all
The big question is will it bleed into the single player portion of the game or not.
I'm not playing either way, I got bored of the franchise around San Andreas.

PS5.... I love that it takes the extraneous movements out but I can tell a difference between it being on and off. It's a night and day difference.

I just find myself playing way less than previous years. Someone mentioned the current "Event" in another post - most Events this year lasted 5 days I think, then there would be a break until the next one. The current one (7th Inning Stretch) lasts until 9/15 and only has packs in it. Weird. If you're going to make it last that long, make it a bigger program.
I usually play MLBTS full time through at least the end of November. This year, I go days without playing.
One last thing... what in the world is SDS doing giving Corey Seager a "Spotlight" card for August? I mean, I LOVE Corey Seager cards, but this one is for "Crushed 3 HR with a 130 wRC+ in August". I'm not exactly sure that's Spotlight-worthy.
They should have given him a Milestone card for his 3 HRs, right @savefarris_psn ? I mean, we're handing out Milestones like candy this year.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Update on NHL- it’s awful. They somehow took about 9 steps backwards
It seems unfinished, but I have had fun so far. Did a little 'Pro Am' to level up my skater. The game feels slow, but we are using 79's-82's, with a couple of 84 overalls in HUT. Going from 98's & 99's to starting over is a bit rough! Animations are a bit jerky and some player faces are wrong. It's kind of funny!
I waited for a sale last season, and decided to do early-access this time, which has made us unpaid, unofficial game testers, until worldwide launch Friday.
It should get better as a patch is sorely needed. I just started vacation Monday, and played almost all day. Didn’t play this at all, which was weird. Maybe the lack of content?? -
HUT is tough to get into. Everything about the menus, pack opening, and set collecting is just so clunky. The moments play like [censored] too. Score goals with specific guys, only the goalies are superhuman and one hit from a defender knocks out all your stamina.

Content has been awful this year. It started the moment they announced Team Affinity was only going to happen once, it was a sharp needle jabbed right into the balloon. There have been giant gaps between content all season and even when they do a big drop, it’s all exactly the same. A program that takes an hour, a conquest map and a mini seasons that is identical to the last one. I swear if they had Team Affinity, much of this would not be an issue. Even inning releases don’t entail much. A new player program and a a new program path. But not much to actually play. Diamond Quest has been left for dead too.

Also the cpu throwing wayyyy to many balls or spotting and dotting you up constantly also hitting has been god awful this year

I am sure he means if they are not throwing too many balls they are throwing dotted fringe edge strikes. Which I agree but, I have been taking until I get strike one and I will get at least one hittable pitch in the AB, if not, take the free pass or sometimes the strikeout. At the end of the day it will take away from the cpu's energy and then I see a good bit of hittable pitches. The game rewards patience. I know people want to hack for homeruns but the game becomes infinitely more difficult doing that, IMHO.
