It being 2020 doesn't mean all video games should come out flawlessly. As things get more advanced, they also get more complex, easier for unexpected things to break.
Now obviously this game NEEDS to be fixed, especially on fielding, but the whole It'S 2020 argument is dumb.
If you think they are actually being lazy and not frantically trying to figure out how to fix it, then you're letting your emotions think.
I agree with you but I think he means that The Show releases the same game year after year.
There aren’t many ground breaking changes to the gameplay were you think the coding is this impossible to fix by now.

So glad I didn't purchase this game this year. Looking at all the bad reviews reminds me just of how much I'm not missing. They purposely destroy the game with 3rd to 4th patch every single year. They won't get my coins!

2020 was supposed to be flying cars and interstellar travel. Instead we got people eating bats, Tiger King and this game.
