Nms here. I won’t be buying the show in 27
-
I don’t even flip at all and don’t even sell my silvers and below and I have all collections done. Just missing a few cards especially the Chase cards. I don’t even have Buxton earned. You are doing something wrong.
-
@ColdPaceX_PSN It’s not impossible, but they are making it harder and harder. I’m not buying 27 either. This year was absolute disaster.
-
You don't need Beltran or Chase cards to be competitive. The external cost of using a monitor is more impactful than any cards you have.

I've never purchased stubs; by the end of April, I had already unlocked both of them through pure gameplay. My approach is simple: I build a dedicated Reds theme team alongside a secondary squad specifically tailored to grind out current missions. Just play the game to have fun. Don't waste your money buying packs or stubs, and definitely steer clear of those sketchy third-party stub-selling websites.
That being said, I am extremely frustrated with this year's game. SDS is acting like they simply don't care anymore. Because they hold the exclusive MLB license, they're operating a lot like the Castellinis—acting as if fans have no other choice but to consume whatever product they put on the field. At this point, my only real objective is getting as many Reds player cards to P5 as possible, which is unfortunately easy since they only release a new one about every two months.
If you asked me today whether I'm buying MLB The Show 27, it’s a hard no. But realistically, by next March, I'll probably end up getting it. I just love baseball too much, and anything that gets me closer to the game, I'm in

This years changes have made no menu spent impossible no matter how much grinding I do. Still no shohei or judge. One chase his year buxton only cuz I earned him. And only two headliners ripped. I don’t mind grinding but the money grab is Forcing me away next year
I disagree with you.

At the beginning of the year, when it became apparent that bots were going to dominate the market, I chose to flip uniforms. It was tedious but I would buy 20 of each jersey and sell for 56 so I was doubling my investment. Once I completed a few collections I stopped with the small stuff. Now I got enough in inventory that I could likely see and get to 5 million but there is nothing to buy. I am done with flipping for the year and I will be able to complete everything shortly after it drops.

Do people not understand that nobody cares you will leave MLB the Show?
It's just another example of people wanting attention.
Since a bunch of you will probably fuss at me. Here's a statement: MLB the Show sucks. Hope this made you happy.

Finally someone admits they buy it even if they said they wouldn't in August. You do you. I'm not telling you it's mandatory to buy it, but seeing SDS' antics, it's looking bleak for the future of this game.

I said this last year regarding 26...have still held out, but browsing the boards a little bit since I'll be back soon when it shows up as a monthly playstation plus game on Sep 1. Kind of looking forward to a bunch of content ready to be played. Should keep me entertained for a bit.

I'm sure that they appreciate the fact that your inability to not be condescending caused you to reply, bump the thread and give them that attention.
Negative attention is still attention

If i had to be clear, I had to be clear. Most people don't understand that.
