    @Bridge-Piece_XBL I'm not surprised.
    I used to have an account but after it switched to X I bailed and haven't looked back.

    Now it’s time to take out the bots then the cheaters using devices. If those 2 things are handled then maybe the game can get back to normal. Truly crazy how selfish people can be. Do they not realize that buying cheap stubs, using bots, and programming hardware to cheat absolutely destroys the gaming experience for others? Sad state of the world where these people only care about themselves.

    This narrative gets a little tired.

    Should they be working diligently towards eliminating cheaters and Bots? Yes.

    Does their lack of success mean they don't care? No.

    We know that they have been working to eliminate bots just by the sheer number of people who have been caught in that net. But 3rd party sellers can probably create new accounts and be back in business faster than SDS can restrict them.

    Cheaters who use devices, if they are smart, are harder to catch if they can't detect the hardware itself. At that point they probably just have game logs to go by and I am not sure how you would detect them after the fact. You can't ban users on reports alone because it is too easy to abuse that.

    So while their lack of success is disheartening it is not proof that they don't care

    The people that were banned should have been the ones that were truly involved in 3rd party stub buying. I never bought a single stub 3rd party and assuming that I, along with a lot of other people, got banned because we were flipping cards on the MLBTS platform. The lack of bot control by SDS is the problem and after the bans, it's still going on, so the ultimate problem was people flipping for stubs and not paying $500 to SDS in order to buy enough stubs to get the gatekeeper cards.

    It was their easy solution to make it look like they did something, when in reality, they alienated a large part of the fan base.

    @TheRealJSpit_PSN

    I have to disagree with you. I flip cards and do silver to gold pack exchanges and flip the gold cards. That's how I got LS collection done, Miggy collection done and Martinez collection done and that's why I am 2/3 of the way to Beltran.

    I stay far far away from unlockables, sponsorships and flipping bronze cards because they are a known stub transfer mecca.

    Flipping cards is part of the game and permissible and that's from the mods from SDS. But flipping to do stub transfers is against ToS and that is very much a bannable offense

    I am in firm belief that almost everyone who got banned was doing something shady. I believe it was very targeted and SDS knew exactly who they were going after to limit collateral damage. Where there maybe 1 or 2 people that inadvertently mistakenly got banned.... sure. Put a ticket in and I'm sure since it was more than likely targeted they'll fix it. If it doesn't get fixed there's a pretty good reason why.

    @DrBear100_PSN I have a ticket in with them. I don't necessarily expect anything to come from it because if any accounts get restored it will make them look like they had no idea what they were doing. The bots still exist, the Inflated prices on equipment and sponsorship items is still there, so really, what was accomplished? Most people banned have moved to alt accounts and still doing stub transfers or at least talking about it online.

    Well anyone on alt accounts buying more third party stubs are just wasting money. That account will be banned too.

    Hopefully that is the case and they stay on it so it’s not a one and done. Numerous videos and posts talk about people buying from 3rd party sites for years and just now getting banned. This year was the boiling over point and hopefully they can put these sites out of business. It wrecks the game for everyone playing the game honestly.

    Agreed, to really send a message I think a few IP bans need to placed.

    I watched the pathetic video apology that YFK put out. I had to laugh, he said he's taking accountability for what he did and the proceeds to excuse his behavior by saying it's basically SDS's fault for the poorly ran game this year and proceeds to say that SDS isn't protecting their customers all the while his promotion of the stub transfer site(I'm not naming the site because I don't want to promote it) gets most of his followers who bought stubs from that site banned.

    Hello pot my name is kettle and your black comes to mind.

    An IP ban needs to start with that @ssclown.

    Is SDS perfect or has been good this year.... no it's been extremely frustrating but what SDS has done in the last few days has begun to restore my trust and faith in them. I hope they keep the good fight up. I hope this is the beginning of true change back to what made them great!

    lol I wanted to see what he said but refused to give him a view. How that dude has any sort of following, I don’t know.

    I just can’t wrap my head around the content creator mentality. “Cheaters are bad, SDS does nothing about them. But let’s do ranked runs for people and promote illegal sites to give you better teams fast and cheap because if you cheat my way it’s okay!”

    We've reached a point where critical thinking, information gathering, and mathematical skills, all once key elements to the great game of baseball, may no longer be applied to the game of baseball.

    I only heard of YFK because of the cheater video back in March. All I’ll say is if you were trying to make a point to SDS, you would have continued showcasing cheaters and stayed in that lane. Instead he and his followers played stupid games and won stupid prizes. I do hope SDS continues to target the market bots, stub sellers and cheaters. Those are all areas that need improvement. But trying to pin all the blame on SDS for knowingly breaking ToS is just new levels of copium.

    See the outrage and posts hat I see about this ban wave should have been what we saw back in June when they said they were taking action against the WBC exploiters. The fact that we didn't still makes me think nothing was done.

    Well, this is what taking action against a fraction of cheaters looks like. Hopefully this is just the opening act of their cleanup effort. So far it’s just been another reminder that they are able to take control of their game when they want. It’s also a reminder that many problems are being ignored. Like marketplace bots, wbc glitch, etc.

    Some of these people that are banned due to market manipulation and are saying that they never bought third party stubs could be banned due to participating in the WBC MS glitch. Thats also considered market manipulation.

    All bans issued the other day specifically cite “stub transferring within marketplace.” No mentions of market manipulation or exploits or cheating.

    YFK is so bold that he made a video opening 2,000 packs from the WBC glitch.

    I guess he thinks his fame has outgrown the game and doesn’t care.

    The level of attempted justification in that post disgusts me. I mentioned it before, SDS cast a wide net to get everyone who even bought a card from a stub transfer bot(unknowingly)- they will sift out the innocent folks as they go. YFK is trying to paint it as laziness from SDS.

    I remember him "discussing" it with his chat as well...I was watching that stream. There was nothing unanimous about it, he was being warned by plenty that it wasn't a smart move. Then trying to deflect the blame by saying "oh the game was so broken, SDS pushed us to it". BS. Hogwash. Bollocks.

    What a tool.

    Yeah except that hasn't been the case. No one has been banned for buying a card off the market place because someone else put it up for sale. That is just a foolish thing to even try and imply. They haven't banned anyone for something they don't control. Don't think I am defending SDS because I'm not, they have so much wrong and are obviously just protecting their pocket book right now. Hopefully this leads to banning the cheats next but doubt ful. Next let's face it you are most likely just jealous of Kyle and are always on here bashing him for his success, along with that i have no pitty for him for getting an account banned for buying 3rd party stubs.
