Banned 3 years for flipping diamond equipment in the marketplace. I did not “stub transfer”… I made millions off diamond equipment. I pray this gets fixed, if not I will never purchase this game again. It’s truly sad what the devs have done this year.

Same here. I wonder if it was a mistake. I packed Ohtani 3 times tradeable and did a lot of diamond equipment flips as well. I also had almost 1,000 hours of play time in the game. Oh well, I guess it's time to go outside.

I’m in dd haven’t tried playing a game yet but I also haven’t flipped in a while since I’ve started taking the game more casual. As long as I’m in dd am I good? As a overthinker I worry even when I don’t do anything that I’ll get banned by mistake that’s anxiety ig. But if I get banned I’ll riot I maybe the biggest against cheating on these forums if u look at my prior posts.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN It isn't a 3 year ban for new iterations of the game (I.E. The Show 27, 28, 29. It is a 3 year ban from the current year... only MLB the Show 26. Still, it's ridiculous they ban stub transfer accounts but not the accounts that actually cheat in game.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN SDS should ban all of his accounts. Every new video he posts should be from a brand new account that gets banned as soon as he posts.

It's always been a problem but for some reason there's alot of content creators pushing the stub site saying that it's completely legal and now alot of people have been banned

@Ibuprozyn_XBL While I do believe accidentals happen...the sheer volume of "I got banned for flipping!" posts popping up indicates people got caught and are trying to very visibly play innocent. I flip a TON and I've never been banned accidentally. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, because we've seen it happen. But I'm not buying that the majority of the posters were innocent

Every single person that buys stubs from third party deserves a ban. They are the reason the bots exist. I'll take a better late than never on this one.
Hopefully WBC is next.

@grimmdogg23_psn I think it's a three year account ban, so it will cover the remainder of 26, 27, and 28 for that account. If they were really intent on causing aggravation they'd just IP ban.

@Ibuprozyn_XBL good luck same thing happened to me and @sds_joek_psn and @manu__sds_mlbts literally went into my post here and said don’t worry we are working with him but nothing changed. They should ban people that violate ToS but they have to find a way not to get innocent people and rob them of the purchase price of the game

Exactly, this how you stop this [censored] in it's tracks. Account bans are great symbolically and don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic they are happening but to really crush this endemic behavior is IP bans at least for the most egregious offenders like streamers promoting third party stub sites. 3 year account ban is okay for the ones purchasing the stubs. Let's take this one more step and IP ban the promoters and ones operating the bots and stub transfer sites. Baby steps I guess.

Force these clown streamers into the general workforce where making stupid surprised faces and spewing generic nonsense will get you ridiculed and/or written up. Not everyone needs to be famous. Lets get back to having only exceptionally talented people on platforms.

They need to ban anyone that uses the sites AND any streamer that promotes any of the sites.

Hey, does anyone know that if someone was banned, either accidentally or on purpose, are they still able to access the marketplace via the Companion App?
I am away from my console for the next two weeks and my PS+ is due to renew in the next few days and if I accidentally got banned (have NEVER bought third party stubs) I want to make sure before I pay for a years worth of PS+.
If it matters; I can still access the Marketplace via the Companion App.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN if you're banned, you will see no stubs in the app and when you're in the marketplace, if you tap on a card, it will give you an error.
