Seeing my Mets trading all of their relievers is extremely rough.
This 2026 season, the 40th anniversary of the '86 team, has got to be the 2nd or 3rd worst season in franchise history, with the payroll & expectations.
First, we get the Mets New Threads program, now this in August. Just incredible. -

Orioles got Boston 2,4,5 prospects, a starting catcher and a ptbnl, it's a nice haul for a rental. As for the Mets I am sorry maybe next year.

Thank goodness i was able to witness 1986. I was young then, but 1986 was absolutely incredible the way it unfolded. I've got a few incredible stories about it! You just had to be there. Mets fans today never experienced a real winner, sadly.

Im just going to be pissed off because its absurd that Brazoban, Raley, and Weaver havent gotten cards yet this year and now they will.
Weaver had 2 consecutive months of 0 runs, not worthy of spotlight card?
Brazoban had 4 Ip, 0H, 7K in WBC yet somehow missed the cut -

Maybe my despondent Orioles fan friend might get '26 now. They're still playing '24, and an O's Franchise, who said they're keeping Adley. Lol, that's not how it works. I just traded my Mets theme team relievers & Peralta fwiw. Nothing but Commons left in the pen. Senga is there too. No one dealt for him, sadly. Can't imagine why.....
It was a good trade deadline this year, i must say.
