@Thongypu_PSN yeah, thats exactly it - you dont need to flip cards, but you do have to pinch pennies (not buy packs) and invest in the right cards.
And theres definitely a "rhyme" to what cards are gonna skyrocket - SDS does the same stuff over and over. Darren ODay was an obvious investment- so was Mookie and Strider....all of which you could've bought for super low prices.

People dont pay attention - these big collections are super easy ways to make money. I didn't even really try and made 700k in stubs on both recent collections.
The problem is that nobody starts prepping until two weeks before the collection is coming out - get scarce cards early. Load up during flash sales. Never buy packs. Its not hard to figure out which cards will likely be in demand. Buy low-supply stuff, its almost always a good investment.
You dont need to pay to win, you just have to pay attention.
I agree, I halfway prepped as I was finishing up V Mart's collection. Not as far away as I thought but still aways to go. Not terribly difficult, it will be a several weeks and I should there.

Thanks for correcting me. What i will say is that people think SDS is supposedly "forcing" microtransactions onto us. People really need a reality check.
No problem, and I certainly hope it wasn't coming across condescending-like. Is it annoying AF that some of the collection-required cards are locked behind the stub shop? Absolutely. Are they necessary to enjoy the game and be competitive? Absolutely not. Appreciate you having the stones to admit that, and not just try to gaslight like some will.

@DemIsE4_XBL you cry alot. The game is not hard to make stubs if you put the time in. Sorry you're lazy AF, and come here to complain about not getting the cards you want. I have not flipped at all, i'm a WS player, nothing great, 0 flawless runs (but i dont play BR), i've not pulled judge or shoehei. The game is rewarding if you know how to play. If you spend half the time playing as you do coming here and complaining you'd have all the cards you want.

@Simple-Jack3998_XBL thats simply not true, i need 2 cards for Beltran, i have 3 boys, work, and a wife. I find plenty of time to hang with the kids, baseball is just ending for them, chase the wife around the house, and do house work. Oh yeah and full time. if you know how to maximize your playing time, its not hard.
Just stop. Are you going to tell us that you pulled Shohei 3x and Judge 2x and have a 10x flawless banner too?
If you don't:

flip cards
are elite at the game
spend moneythen the game sucks balls. It is extremely unrewarding. Matter of fact easily the most unrewarding game I've ever played. Ask anyone who doesn't do the above, they'll tell you the same thing.
I still find it more rewarding than Madden. You definitely need some luck mixed with good pulls and at the very least investments if you aren't actively flipping.
While I agree with you that it is better than Madden from what I hear but wouldn't you also agree it is heading in that direction? I'm not sure if these prices are a combination of bots buying stubs or SDS greed. Think a little bit of both. I don't think the prices of these cards are quite this high without bots. FFS, I heard you can get 1 million stubs for $70. From SDS wouldn't that cost like $700? Not sure people understand how much these bots raise prices. Legit people are really getting screwed due to bots, cheaters and WBC glitch. OhChev and Sam Adams both had cheaters in their last video. One was top 50 player and one had 1000 rating. These people really need to be caught.

I call stuff exactly how I see it. If it's good, I say it. If it's bad, I say it. There's been a lot of bad things this year. Let's address some things.
We'll start with lazy. I have every program in the game done. The only mini seasons I haven't done yet is the HOF one which I'm likely doing tonight. The only kind of major conquest map I haven't done is one with a topps reward. I can't even count how many mini seasons runs I have done but when you constantly get the 10 standard 1 ballin rewards and never get anything, what are you supposed to do? I don't ask for great pulls every run but certainly more than a few in 4 months. I don't think people understand how ridiculous stubs are when you don't get good pulls.
I have a lot more time to play than most playing this game. I have 99 Miggy and just got 99 Victor a few weeks ago. I have more cards than most. I can only imagine how frustrated most people are that don't have the time.
Should we talk about the bots increasing prices in the market which really hurts legit people playing the game?
Should we talk about the WBC glitchers? You didn't mention that? Did you partake in that? Sorry if I'm wrong but you seem like a person that would do that and then talk down to people that can't make stubs just playing the game because they never or rarely pull anything.
Should we talk about the cheaters? Like I said in my previous post, OhChev and Sam Adams just played some. One with a top 50 and one with 1000 rating.
Every one of these last 3 things hurt legit players yet nothing has been done about them. Maybe I get better pulls if WBC glitchers don't take THOUSANDS (if not more) packs and players. Maybe instead of 200k for some of these trash cards, they are at 30k. Playing cheaters in WC has definitely taken loads of players/stubs from legit players. I guess all these things are OK with you.

14/21 on miggyLive series I could prob have everything but judge and ohtani at this point.
I decided early on to not go after live series and no life the game. First year since 2020 or so I didn't get live series done within the first 6 weeks or so.
It's kindve a bummer to not get Beltran but it is what it is. My god squad team is still super good and if I can't best someone then I likely wouldn't beat them with Beltran anyways. Andruw Jones is just about as good minus the switch hitting.
So not the big a deal but compounds to the lack of motivation to play this year.

We're almost the exact same spot. Beltran 7/30, Martinez 9/24, Cabrera 14/21, LS I do have everything but Judge & Ohtani. After I got to those final two I regretted even doing LS.
