Hall of Fame content?

Did SDS fail to receive the MLB memo released to the general public several months back that three players would form the 2026 Baseball Hall of Fame class?
I ask, because despite all that time, it seems SDS has done nothing even 24 hours after the induction ceremony, to honor these three players. I have not seen any public release of even cards, much less storyline moments that should have been prepared long ago and released to coincide with the class induction ceremony.
For example, how hard would it have been for SDS to have already released two storyline moments for Andruw Jones: his two-homer World Series game at Yankee Stadium, plus a moment of fielding to recreate any of the amazing catches that he carried out. The catch at Philadelphia would have been a nice one.
Carlos Beltran and Jeff Kent have ready storyline moments at the waiting also.
SDS is the only software studio in the world with a true MLB license. They used to pride themselves on staying relevant in terms of celebrating great baseball developments. What happened to that passion, SDS? Where exactly did it go, and what replaced it? In short, what happened to your professional pride?

? They released a program for Jones and Beltran right after the ceremony

Where is the announcement? SDS operates and owns this website. The forum is a small part of it. Another large part of it is their News section. I just checked. There is zero mention of any storyline moments for any of the three players.

They don't have the rights for Jeff Kent, but they did moments for the other two.

Well, I appreciate your announcement. But, why has SDS buried its own lead?

@PriorFir4383355_XBL If I had to guess it's because it was a weekend and they don't have anyone in the studio then. Not that a tweet couldn't be done from home tho.

It was in that news release which led with the double XP weekend.
I believe it was also on the Calendar and of course they announced it on X where they announce everything else.
And why does it bother you since, if my memory serves, you did not buy the game this year?
-
Dude is still complaining about a game he doesn't even play.

Cooperstown HoF inductions are always scheduled for the last Sunday in July. I realize it is a strange system, but it is the one they adopted. My larger point is that the day of the induction ceremony was known months in advance as well.
I can appreciate how SDS employees are mostly off on Sunday, but there was nothing that prevented SDS from announcing the storylines for each player on Friday prior, or certainly by noon on Monday the day after.
But, honestly, you've done a better job of public announcement than has SDS, and they aren't paying you anything. It seems the people they are paying are a bit absent on this one.
-
I think you are just searching for things to be upset about at this point especially for a game you've never had.
Like when the board of health comes in for an inspection and is there for 2 extra hours cause they can't find anything so they say your napkins are folded at 13 degrees instead of 15 and take points off cause they're not allowed to give a perfect score. -
Yeah, one of the most important days in annual baseball history, known several months in advance, and SDS failed to make meaningful announcements of content drop. It's almost as bad a missing content coinciding with the World Series.
That ain't searching. That's stating a plain truth.

This was in their news section
Hall of Fame Series Andruw Jones & Carlos Beltran in all-new Hall of Fame content coming on 7/26
Then three X posts about the content when it dropped
I agree that it should be posted here too but I am not sure what you expected. No matter how much importance you place on the event the average fan probably pays very little attention to it.

Yeah I don’t understand the complaint. It was posted multiple places and even said it would be released after the ceremonies, which it was. It’s not like they are going to releases cards with HoF plaques until after they are inducted.

It's two full days after the HoF induction, and if you were to look at SDS's official news site, you wouldn't know the event took place.
Where are the images of the cards for these three HoF players? Speculation says Jeff Kent's rights are not present, but no confirmation of that is given either.
The entire single reference to anything regarding the HoF is buried inside a news release whose headline focuses on a double XP weekend. The greatest individual award MLB can bestow upon any player, three earn it officially, and SDS treats it like it's an also-ran story.
And folks like you cannot understand the issue? That's pretty insightful, and not for a good reason.

Here we go again.
