Mlb the Show on PC?
-
@victoryphoenix_psn And also for PC users cheating in DD, since PCs don't restrict mods.
-
@PAinPA_PSN Exactly. It came from the President of Sony. He said MLB told them to put the game out for all the consoles. As a franchise player I think the multi consoles is why they can’t do year to year saves.
-
I honestly don't think it's because of cheating they haven't gone to PC. If they thought it would turn them a good profit SDS would absolutely add the game to PC.
-
PC modding would fix a lot wrong with franchise
-
@Kalebbro12_NSW They won't ever because of 2 reasons.
-
Sony is getting their clock cleaned this generation for hardware/console sales, because people have migrated to PC, where up until recently, Sony released most of their games. Sony has just started to reverse the trend of releasing games on PC.
-
PC game will have so many more cheaters.
-
-
With the already increasing cheating problem in MLB the show, adding PC compatability is just adding more salt to the wound. It's just not the best decision.
-
@SavageSteve74_PSN you guys always cry about this nonsense. There is zero cheating on any other sports game on pc yet somehow mlb the show is going to lead to cheating? Get over yourselves. They need to put this game on PC. Its been begging for it for years. Console players are the only people who are actively cheating. All you guys talking about cheating are a bunch of babies who simply want their box to be more valuable. No one cares about your console. Over 50% of all gamers are on PC. Show me one single example of someone cheating on madden or 2k, because i havent seen it in years, and i use to run into cheaters all the time on console. You cant do that on pc. Bunch of babies

It's probably way less. Alot of people can't afford to build/get PCs because of their outrageous prices.
That's why most stick to consoles such as Playstation, XBOX, or in some rare cases the Switch 2.
-
According to the Google machine, 59% of all gamers are on PC versus 41% on console. It does state the numbers are not mutually exclusive as roughly 72% of all gamers globally use both.

For sports games console is king, PC has a much, much smaller market share:

Do you think that MLB the Show will ever be on PC?
No. It’s on only Xbox and Switch because MLB forced them to do so or lose the license. If another game comes out I can see them dropping those versions and going back exclusive. I don’t see MLB forcing them to make a PC game.
