No one on here mentioned the lack of online programs?? Like ranked, battle royale, longer more rewarding event programs! All stuff they used to have.

What about making another ranked mode 6 innings where we have to use certain cards and use some of these collection non meta cards? Etc

You guys are dropping the ball. If you are not asking for this. We need to make the game fun again, more creativity etc get more casuals wanting to play online.

Unless you all just want to play mini seasons and conquest 70 percent of the time?

I asked for a fantasy draft type mode and to make BR free (or bring back flawless cards lol) oh and a salary cap ranked seasons to make creative rosters. Online could definitely get some make over. I'm tired of events being the only decently fun online experience.

@Dolenz_PSN not sure if a baseball game can ever be relaxing though. Your still jamming the controller to hit a 100 mph fastball against the cpu. Just as much as vs a player.

62 or 30 years old so what. Makes no difference. Age is in the mind. Its still baseball. This game is not relaxing either way. Im not buying all these excuses from offline players. You all can dislike me all you want.

Dd used to be primarily 80 percent online. They need to seperate us at this point. This ain't working. We dont want to play offline just as much as you dont want to play online.

Respectfully disagree. After a long day at work or doing other stuff, sometimes I just want to beat the feces out of the computer on rookie and call it a night. Personally, I find that relaxing and easy to pause if I need deal with the kids or work stuff since I get occasional calls on 2nd shift.

@Thongypu_PSN ok thats cool. But its forcing players like me to also play offline. Playing vs the cpu will never be fun to me. They need to seperate us at this point. Find a way for us both to accomplish everything in dd. Playing the exact way we want online or offline. I should never have to play offline to accomplish things and neither should the offline players have to play online then.

I understand that but I think the game does a decent job forcing offline and online players to spend time getting the best rewards. It ends up being quite fair. Both sides have to do things they don't want to for the best rewards but I wish there was more content for both.

@Thongypu_PSN fair point. Yes give us both more content for sure! More programs for both 100 percent.

I still don't get blaming the offline gamers. I have said it multiple times now that no offline gamer requested that all the offline rewards be flagged as no sell. In fact most, if not all, of us wish we could sell some our rewards to online players who don't want to play offline.

Is it fair that the online players can make stubs selling their rewards while offline players can't do the same? And online players know that they have an advantage in that regard. Just look at how many had a fit over the Acuna card showing up in a pack causing his value to fall.

We play offline. We don't care if online players get these offline reward cards by playing online. It does not effect us.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is that programs should have enough built in missions to earn the cards strictly offline or strictly online depending on user choice

@Dolenz_PSN what offline rewards does online players get lol? Only diamond quest cards can be bought. All multiplayer players can be bought outside the ranked cards. Ofc people were upset they took a card that was an exclusive online reward and killed it almost immediately. I sorta agree they have most programs that obtainable for both sides. But they could also keep some of it separate.

@Dolenz_PSN we are just gonna have to agree to disagree at this point. 99 percent of online cards can be purchased. Cant say the same for offline cards.

Maybe its not offline players faults that sds made a bone head dumb a.. decision to take away all the online programs away from us? So maybe I am blaming you guys for that. It could be i dont know.

I just want to have fun and enjoy the game. Im playing way too much offline this year. Way way way too much and its not fun. I have no choice if I want to keep up. I will not be purchasing the game next year if I have devote 70 percent of my time playing offline again. Ill be done.

I am not sure we are disagreeing on that point. You don't want offline rewards to be no sell and I don't want offline rewards to be no sell.

Both sides would benefit from offline rewards being sellable. You can get cards without playing offline and I can earn more stubs without needing to sell the few diamonds I pulled from packs that I have that I would have otherwise held on to.

There isn’t a card that you can’t buy from online programs other than the actual top whatever rank cards. You can buy any player from the multiplayer programs. We can buy diamond quest players but none of the mini seasons or conquest players.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS right so why give offline players the ability to purchase cards from online. And not give online players the ability to purchase from offline programs.

This is what im saying. This is my last year if I have to devote so much time in a mode I dont want to play. I dont want to play offline. I dont mind it once in a while. I could live with 20 percent. But yet im playing offline at least 70 percent of my game time, to progress. Total bs. Too much. Im an online player to my core.. being forced to play offline 70 percent of the time. Ridiculous

Hit ws in ranked, finished the event program there is nothing left online for me to play. Unles I want to mindlessly play events and blow through the multi-player program. Would take a week max, done with that also.

@palmerjones_PSN right. Give us online players more to play for. Right now its all offline grinding. 15 mini seasons, 15 conquests maps, dq maps, Showdowns.. they give us ranked and a lousy event once a week that takes 10 games max to finish it.

Battle royale is pointless. Non subject.

Not to say it’s Joe’s responsibility but even he doesn’t have an answer because even he knows this game is dog water!!! This company says a whole bunch of stuff to gas light its community and then goes on streams and never addressing the real issues of the game. They have no pr department and if they do it’s a bunch of introverted 3rd graders that can’t handle conflict. I feel they get bagged on so much because they never really give us explanations on what’s going on and why their game isn’t working. In all honesty I feel bad for Joe because he takes the brunt of all these comments and sds just keeps sending him back out here to take the bullets.

You are absolutely blaming the wrong group. When did any offline player ask to remove a program we don't care about or ask for more no-sell cards? Put in a little thought before making ignorant accusations. I get your frustration about offline content. Even as an offline player, I called out in the survey that there is too much offline content that's meant to just support each new card series to push out more packs. I just want to relax and play the game with the players I enjoy. I can't do that when a new card series comes out every 2-3 weeks with a supporting mini-season.

The problem isn't the fanbase. The problem is SDS asks for feedback but doesn't listen to it. 3-4 years ago there were a couple fun themed mini-seasons (gold series and lefty-vs-lefty). People asked for more of those so we got more mini-seasons that are now used to drive new card series. Also, the last 2-3 years, players said that Team Affinity discouraged the use of Negro League players and asked for a Negro League path in TA. SDS's solution was to gut TA almost entirely.

I hope SDS is not reading this debate so they can make a decision about “should we accommodate the online players or the offline players” because that would just make one side upset and the other side happy.

Look. It’s quite easy to avoid this while making both sides happy. This is about not making players play modes they don’t like to get cards to finish collections, right? Either make things sellable or make both online and offline play give progress in same programs that have the cards both sides want!

@NotesOfJohn_PSN sorry that’s facts hurt you feelings because unless they make offline cards sellable what I say was true. We can’t get mini seasons or conquest cards. The only offline mode card we can buy is dq. The only online card you can’t buy is ranked 1000 cards. You just aren’t right this time.

The online vs offline debate is so easy to solve:

Eliminate mode specific cards. Let us earn everything via either avenue.
