Prospect cards

I have a problem with all these prospects and future cards being rated than live series. A huge portion of them won't amount to anything in the league, but they can have higher cards than Acuna, Bellinger, and Yelich. I realize that at some point those 3 will have higher rated cards, but it just seems a little asinine.

I agree. I have to use a bunch of randos instead of current stars just to compete

The only way I can see them justifying this is if the following TA stages include 99 overall MVP, Prime, or signature versions of the players you mentioned, and players like them.

Kelenic is ranked as good as Yelich think about that

I’m a blue jays fan and don’t even know who kevin smith his, he’s getting a 90 overall card on friday. Yep, he’s going to be better then lindor for sure SDS!
The live series cards being nerfed that much and unrealistic cards like the future stars series coming in to the game makes this game become more and more like madden.

He directed Clerks and Chasing Amy. More of a hockey guy, really.

I get where you are coming from but we will end up getting 120 diamond cards for absolutely free though TA . Also this is the first year with prospects being in the game. They have to something with them

I don't mind them...they really wasted the Future Stars series last year. I do think Prospects AND Future Stars is a little redundant. I'd rather have Prospects be...well, prospects, and Future Stars be major league players either under a certain age, or below a certain service time threshold.
For example: Milwaukee Brewers...
Prospect: Corey Ray
Future Star: Keston HiuraI don't care for the FS cards to just be upgraded versions of the Prospect cards.

They do this every year it’s kinda shitty. They make Live Series players absolutely obsolete so they can release a juiced version of them late summer for $$$

I gad a suggestion yesterday where the released the Prospects in the 1st Stage of TA. Silver at 25 (instead of Gold) then Gold at 50 (instead if the FOTF cards). They couldve even done 2 for each team that way.
Then Stage 2 would've Diamond been FS cards caped at 85. 2nd or 3rd Year players.
Stage 3 couldve been where you pip out the FOTF cards.
Then Stage 4 could've been Sig cards.
But some were saying that people wouldn't grind for Silver/Golds.
But I bet they woyld if SDS wasn't releasing a brand new Diamond player EVERY week!
