Gotcha. I already paid for the game this year, so I'll play when I want while holding SDS accountable. Like what am I supposed to do, just take it in the you know what? That's just as crazy to me.
Not planning on buying '27. That could change though, but it's not looking very good rn lol.

Everyone here loves the game of baseball. Loves MLB. Loves older versions of MLB The Show. No one wants to hate MLB The Show 26, we just pine for it to be better.
DD menus are unbearable right now. Even if they weren't, everything about the mode is stale regardless, but the menu lag (inexcusable) takes any fun out of the game. RTTS can't even do a proper face scan this year without some hideous dark shade/line on the back of your neck (entire bottom of your face if you have a beard irl), which ruins that mode. Franchise is missing like 30% of best players likeness like that one guy loves to accurately point out all the time.
It's just a horrible game and I will be honest to state as such when I feel compelled to. I will not be playing it much longer, but even then I'll still come here and say something negative about it because it deserves that at the very least. It's great you love it though Player99 and I hope you keep having fun and stop getting upset at people who aren't having as much fun as you.

@Player99_MLBTS it’s pretty simple actually, a lot of people love the game of baseball, and atm this is the only baseball game out that is featured around the mlb. So peoples only option to get an enjoyable experience is to ask them to ask and hope they make improvements. I’ll say this is in my opinion the worst mlb they’ve had in probably 4 years. Bad timing aswell with lockout and GTA 6 both looming

Man i respect your opinion but it ranks up there with some of nick wrights incredibly biased chiefs takes. The only way this game could fully satisfy a person's desires of an MLB baseball game is if that person played ONLY road to the show, or if they are the mother of an SDS employee. If you fall into those two categories then you will have no argument from me. However you are in the forums just like the rest of us so I am gonna guess you think this game is mediocre at best as well. This is what happens when your company makes the only game in its genre. No competition means no innovation. There is no other MLB game to threaten them so they have no drive to release anything new. Minimizing cost while maximizing profit. It happens everytime this happens. Madden started its demise when NFL gameday quit making games and then espn released an NFL game and it was innovative and new but madden toppled them and went right back to being bad. Fifa has never had real competion on consoles and it has become a dumpster fire. (Hopefully fifa finds a company to make a good game now that they left EA.) So we have all seen this way too many times. They have made their choices now we must suffer until a change is made. Thats just the truth. Again, I do apologize if you an SDS employee mom!

Nah its about time we actually do what we say. This game needs to lose a lot of its playerbase, then they might actually care about the product they put out. Laggy menus since day 1, server issues since day 1, still active hackers online, still so many issues with the app. Maybe they should do what 2k did with wwe all those years ago, and just take a break for a year, until they figure out how to at least somewhat put out a working game… once I get cfb 27, im not looking back
