Sonny Gray 2000

And the player selection did not seem slow or sluggish at all
If they have finally fixed this, that gets a huge Thank You from me.
-
@NotesOfJohn_PSN -- This is great to hear.
How's everyone else's experience in the menus/Showdown so far?
Menus have been totally fine for me for weeks, luckily.
-
would rather hit myself in the bathing suit area with a hammer than play a showdown
I'd.... Rather play Showdown.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN draft menus were super fast for me, glad you guys figured that out.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN yeah, this Sonny Gray card is the kind of pitcher who just cuts me up....literally, with his cutter.
Not many strikeouts, but a whole lot of bad pci placement leading to easy outs. I'd much rather face 103mph fastball than that.
-
easy showdown but card is boo boo
-
@bbrewer23goblue_MLBTS really? I think this card could play wicked like Al Leiter. Cutter moves a ton.
-
Menus and UI felt perfect last few days.
-
Dang. Got down to 6 outs remaining!
I was never good vs. Sonny Gray! Ironically, my son Elly walked it off with a 2-run homer. -
@Bridge-Piece_XBL I've had the odd lag, but largely a similar experience with the menus to you.
I have however lost four mini season finals in 3 weeks due to disconnects, which really sucks.
-
No lag here either, and let me say... I typically stay away from Showdowns but since it was Sonny Gray I had to do it. And they were really clever on this.
Having you draft players specifically from the teams he played on...in order
Needing to beat 54 runs (his jersey number).
Not making it too difficult or anything.
It was a clever one IMHO. Kudos to SDS -

I wondered why I had a round with 4 Cardinals
-
@rubicante23_PSN cards amazing debut for me 9ip 2h 8ks 0bb 1er.

Great to hear that things are running smoothly so far and everyone is enjoying the Showdown.
If things start to get slow or anything, let me know here.
Thanks!

Ran smooth and the easiest showdown I've ever done. Great selection of lefty hitters. Had the game tied in the final showdown before I recorded my first out, which was a called strike that was clearly a ball, but that's another story. Wrapped it up in the next few ABs.
