Account Restrictions

I like many others in this forum have had my account restricted on the companion app. I was flipping silvers to golds and got my account restricted. This happened over a week ago and sent in a ticket almost immediately. I’m so close to finishing live series and this has stopped me. I got a response just yesterday. Over a week after I sent in the ticket.
SDS said that my account had been flagged due to non-standard marketplace usage told me that my restriction was permanent for MLB the show 26 and they reminded me that no automated tools are allowed in the game or companion app. I never used automated tools and have just been flipping cards.
Looking at the community forum it seems I’m not alone with this issue. I feel like in this latest attempt to stop bots they ended up banning more real players than actual bots.
Does anyone know how to get them to overturn this?

I have been restricted as well and I haven't used any automated tools either. Im really not very happy.

Were you using the app or the website? If you were using the website how many tabs did you have open?

Honestly, I don't think that you will get them to overturn this, since you can still buy and sell via the console.

Yep, I learned that multiple tabs were a no-no back in 22.

The only way to respond to this is to boycott the game. I literally use a pen and paper to track the market highs and lows and to monitor trends. This is my final year and I will never buy any sds products in the future.

I just got restricted and have only played two vs the computer games in the past month and a half. I've had issues with the app saying it doesn't support my phone so I can't even buy or sell cards, can do everything else though even quick sell. So what the hell is going on!??

@LadySwampfox_XBL doesnt speed things up, been told my ticket wont get looked at till next week, ive been without companion access for 3 days so far.

I just got restricted buying and selling commons and bronzes. No automated tools were being used.

Just got restricted bc I am having to try sell and buy at high volume of bronze and silver cards bc of the bot issues. I don’t understand why we are all getting restricted while they’re roaming free worse than ever

@VOReason1976_XBL You can still use the marketplace on console in the meantime. I know it's clunky but it's something at least

@VOReason1976_XBL Yeah, I know. It sucks. But it's better than nothing at the moment, until you hear back.
If you happen to be flipping on console, keep a lookout for any bot activity on hot cards. They keep rolling out patches to stop the bots but the bots keep finding workarounds. They will want to know if bot activity is still persisting

@LadySwampfox_XBL I cant always access the xbox though. Its just frustrating and seems more and more people are getting restricted.

@VOReason1976_XBL I understand. Maybe they've been so heavily focused on keeping the bots at bay, that they haven't been able to properly address cases where people were incorrectly flagged for being bots. The bot problem has been so bad this year that they likely have their hands very full. Don't lose hope though.

Im restricted as well and I only flip common cards. Unbelievable. I dont use anything automated just click away at buy and sell. Time to move on from this game. Why even have the companion app if they want us to flip slow as in game
