Sometimes you hate the All Star Voting process more than others.

A work around would be the players who the voters chose aren’t automatically starters. They’re just automatically chosen as an All Star and the manager and coaches can chose who starts.

A city might be lucky to have a couple million fans voting for them.
The Blue Jays have an entire country of almost 35 million that support them. The Jays games are broadcast coast to coast. Every game is broadcast on the network that owns both the team and the network.
So, they garner a lot of support ... deserved or not.

jays fans as a non jays fan Canadian tick me off. 7 for a below average team is ridiculous like I get a lot of the al is but ur under 500 and it’s not a pretty under 500 either like I get a season isn’t completely wins and losses u can play good ball and get unlucky. -

I'm a Canadian expat, now, but I grew up about an hour outside Toronto.
However, I still watch every game and I still root for the team, but I'll be the first to tell you that only Clement was deserved of an all-star spot, this year. Okamoto is having an okay year and Varsho is starting to heat up, but the other guys are all getting in on past glory.
Managers should be picking the All-Star team, not fans.
