Chase Packs

Thats why these cards are so insanely expensive. Who is even able to afford these cards when they come out? The odds are 1 and 16. Or is it 1 and 24. Cant remember either way. Its ridiculous considering how rarely we even obtain chase packs to begin with in this game. They should be placing chase packs in the xp path along the way. I already made a complaint about how they are being extremely greedy with their premium packs this year.
One solution stop giving these greedy ... suckers money. They have monetized every aspect of this game now.

And Headliners are just as bad (though a bit less expensive) - because you first have to get lucky and get the right headliner pack, before you even get to the insanely low pull percentage

I’ve purchased all the chase packs in the flash sales every time along with getting probably 10-15 other Chase packs from playing…
Probably 0-30 on chase packs if I had to guess.

@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL The thing is - SOMEONE is pulling them, or they wouldn't be on the marketplace.
I just am not one of the lucky ones.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL they are pulling them at a 4 percent per pack rate. So yeah someone is pulling them. And thats if you are even able to get a chase pack.

@Ditka06-_MLBTS I only have gotten them for finishing the MP programs and maybe in WC? I can't recall. But I'm 0 for whatever this year.
0 for whatever last year.
I did pull Elly's chase card a few times whatever year that was - but that's it for me.
I'm just not someone who gets excited about packs because my luck isn't good. I focus on making stubs through flipping instead.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL I dont have the patience to flip. Nor the time. I just want to play the game and progress. All though I do the exchanges for gold packs. Which helps a little.

I do passive flipping, which doesn't take up a lot of time. And I list every card I pull from standard/ballin/headliner packs. Builds up stubs more than people realize.

Odds of the most recent chase pack
- Live Series - 95.718% chance (1 in 1.05)
- Other Series - 4.278% chance (1 in 21.75)
You are 20.75 times more likely to hit a live series and their odds are tiered so Ohtani is still rare.
- Diamond - 95.718% (1 in 1.04)
- Red Diamond - 4.278% 1 in 23.37)
You are about 22.37 times more likely to pull a regular Diamond.
The current Chase Card is the most likely red Diamond at 4.038% (1 in 24.8)
Previous chase cards drop to 0.04% or a 1 in 2,500 (which is the same odds as pulling live series Ohtani from Chase packs)
Expecting to pull anything but a live series low diamond is just wishful thinking. This is simply gambling with your stubs which is fine if you have them to spare but not a wise move if you don;t

I didn't hate chase packs when they were rare. If they are going to make them weekly releases I would really hope to start seeing chase selectors for some of the older ones.
