Flash and stub sale

Struck out on the chase packs, but got judge first live series. I think I would be about 100k off of Ohtani if I sold the summer series cards I’ve been hesitant to lock for Skubal and Berkman. I do not want to give up Berkman with the high clutch and contact for legend, plus he will for sure go back up. I’ll lose stubs either way if I sell out for Ohtani or hold Berkman.
I don’t dare try the second live series pack or buy stubs haha.

Every time I put a buy order (around 10th in waiting line) then walk away for a few hours they have one of these sales, my buy order gets filled but at 10,000s higher than if I wouldn't have set a buy order. The funny thing is that it was on a card that I had been waiting for more than a month because I refused to pay the previously high price. I think I'm gonna take the lesson and NEVER set a buy order & walk away again, haha.

After I got the diamonds I needed I had a little fun bought three different packs. Got squat, wasted 100k worth stubs. Got that out of my system now onto legend collections

I was fortunate enough to pull Ohtani and Judge early, but even then, this is a [censored] good thing.
The more people that have them, the better.I'll never understand people actively wanting to restrict others from finishing collections (i assume they feel some sort of pride in finishing it and want any little advantage in Ranked).
It's the end of June, give people a crack at finishing it and having some fun with those cards. -
Even though I pulled Ohtani I still can't play this game because it keeps disconnecting me, SDS fix your servers so people can actually play the game and use the cards that they just got

Yeeeees, finally. It took all i stubs i had but I have Ohtani out of the way and I finally have Pujols, only Judge remains for the LS collection

Decided to chase judge and Ohtani and got two Lindor and Soto. Couldn’t be worse. So I ended up buying a bunch of the cheaper chase cards and other cards I am missing. Down to about 10k in stubs

The market is so goofy in this game...
Every time there's a flash sale: "Oh no, theyre selling packs! Fire sale - drop cost on everything"
One hour later: " never mind, we forgot all those packs stink, and nobody pulls anything. Jack the prices back up!"

I picked up Ohtani for 516k and Judge for 301k. I can finish the Live Series.
I'm not on my console, so I'm not locking them in just yet. And, I can see that they're rapidly rising in price again now that the Flash sale has ended. So... Talk me out of selling them ...

I mean the case can be made to sell them because there will be other flash sales but I locked in Ohtani because I couldn't pass up the chance of getting Pujols, Ramirez and the 97 Ohtani
However if you do sell I would wait a few days for Ohtani's price to get back into the 700k range which It should do. By waiting you could be set for the rest of the games cycle

@MarioMendoza935_XBL i bought him for 500 and locked him in. I wasnt going to finish live series. But at 500k I said screw it. Done and over with. Now I can focus on the legends and flash backs and players that I actually want. I was not going to buy ohtani at 700k plus. 500k changed my mind. All though now I'm stub poor with about 75k stubs left. Eh

I thought all the prices were too high and SDS sucked for creating that situation but now they have done something that helped bring down those prices and now they suck for doing that?

Live Series is supposed to be a grind with hopefully lucky pulls along the way. 90 and above players have never been this cheap in this part of game cycle. Usually the Live Series would drop once 99s started becoming accessible. Even when the stuff happened with the WBC glitch 90 and above were still cheap with the 2 exceptions. Now if your NMS spent and grinding gameplay for packs, the reward just isnt as beneficial. As stated above by OP, show packs are useless.

While people were complaining about the flash sale and stub sale happening at the same time, I casually made over 650K buying the dip.

Usually the Live Series would drop once 99s started becoming accessible. Even when the stuff happened with the WBC glitch 90 and above were still cheap with the 2 exceptions. Lol, LS cards being cheap is not a bad thing.
Ohtani being at 700K again is terrible and I pulled him twice this year and benefited from it, but it is very bad for the community in general that he is 700k

You'd think the market would quit acting like this, since everyone should know this information.
But for some reason, the market in this game has all the anxiety and panic of an overstimulated monkey.

I'm leaning towards locking them in. After selling off a bunch of duplicates, I'm still around 450k, so not stub poor.

lol it’s so confusing. Like why are people constantly selling me cards at QS price instead of QSing them and not losing 10%?
I’m not going to complain but it’s so strange.
