Sometimes you hate the All Star Voting process more than others.

And Soto is better than him but behind him in voting. Better splits but lower counting stats due to injury and some are barely less like 1 less homer.
I haven’t voted a single time but maybe consider voting and getting your fanbase to vote.

I think the problem is the Mets are in Queens. They probably still have dial-up there.

Yankees fans pad the votes against him.
First should be Olson.

Oh All-star voting is completely garbage.

Oh All-star voting is completely garbage.
I quit voting once they let everyone vote multiple times. They should limit you to a single vote or lock you to a single vote per week. Wouldn’t be hard. Make you sign up for the free MLB account and then that account can be limited on how many votes it can make. I liked when you only can vote when you went to a game.

I'm totally going to age myself, but ... I remember you could only vote at the game. You got handed a ballot and had to punch out the hole, just like elections.

@Rhyno1986_XBL I voted for Spencer Jones at catcher.

I remember those

@Dolenz_PSN I’m proud of myself I know a fair amount of names on here and I was only born in 2004.

Looked at the update on voting totals today to realize a triple crown leader is second to Ernie Clement? Don’t get me wrong he’s had a good year, but come on jays fans! Alvarez is one of the most dominant hitters this year period him and Kyle S. Sorry as and Astros fan who voted once, I put deserving people before my team, because I want to see superstars play together and not my own team play another game. Sorry but had to put this out there.

This is because there are fewer decent options at 2B, so Ernie gets all the votes.
When you have a bunch of good players at a position, the votes get spread around.

Me too. I liked it that way but sadly technology dictates changes. I’m fine with them just not this way. You could sit there and vote non stop the way it is now. I think they can come up with something similar what I said to limit voting by person. Once would be good but back in the day you went to multiple games and voted multiple times which was why I also said maybe weekly. Better than repeated votes per day or whatever it is now.

Or perhaps one vote per unique email. That way, if someone wants to vote multiple times, they at least have to work for it.

Teams actually encourage their fans to vote for all the home team guys. That’s a joke in itself. If anything mlb should just encourage fans to vote period, restrict the number of votes per person, and then use it as a factor combined with league picks to decide the overall starters. The way it’s designed now losses all credibility.

I mean, people were complaining that Lamelo Ball wasn't in the NBA all star game last year in San Francisco. Mainly the players and coaches didn't vote for him because the Hornets were playing like straight buns.
Maybe like the NBA,we can make fan voting count less, and make the players and coaches also vote for players. Now Vladimir "3 Homers" Guerrero Jr. and Alejandro "10 games played" Kirk won't be in actual contention for the AL all star starting lineup.
Players and coaches do vote for players.
The fan vote is the starting 9 position players(DH)
The coaches and players vote for the backups and some of the pitchers. -
A work around would be the players who the voters chose aren’t automatically starters. They’re just automatically chosen as an All Star and the manager and coaches can chose who starts.

The Phillies have alot probably because the All Star game is in Philly this year
-
A city might be lucky to have a couple million fans voting for them.
The Blue Jays have an entire country of almost 35 million that support them. The Jays games are broadcast coast to coast. Every game is broadcast on the network that owns both the team and the network.
So, they garner a lot of support ... deserved or not.

-
@StinkyMcPooter_XBL Might aswell nuke the Blue Jays organization back to the Cretacious period.
