Idk man. Every year I have days where I will flip thousands of cards. Ive hit the 5000 transaction limit many times. Just 2 days ago I bought and sold 20 of every bronze live series card selling for over 40 stubs probably about 3000 cards all together.

Ive never once been banned. Either sds made a mistake (I doubt it), or you did somthing you werent supposed to do.

    @whalen91_PSN

Indeed it is, but I'm sure I did my share when I've had days off and decided to do nothing but work the market in years past... I'm 100% thinking OP did the glitch.

@whalen91_PSN it wasnt hard to do in previous years. I havent hit the limit this year becsuse of the 20 card max.

Last year i maid million of stubs by buying 76 overall cards for near qs and then selling them for 110-140.

Also in years past there were player exchanges built into team affinity, so when a new teams affinity would release players would go to the market and buy hundreds of silvers for the exchange. I was sure to always have tons of silvers ready for those days.

It was an easy way to make 250,000+ in one day by just buying cheap cards. Which is probably why sds removed TA and player exchanges.

@shkinman799_PSN did it say your account was restricted? I got the same thing. I was just flipping cards.

I can still buy and sell on the console. Open a ticket. That’s what I did. There is nothing wrong with flipping.

Jesus. How much time do you guys spend on the marketplace. I just couldn’t do that. Owning a certain card now instead of a couple weeks is not worth the repetitive boredom to me. Every week or two there’s just better cards that are released that the grinding isn’t worth it. By the end everyone can have millions and millions of surplus stubs if you played most of the year

@virusts_PSN it’s the only way I can make stubs since they aren’t easy to make in the actual game. When I’m sitting at my desk at work in between meetings or tasks I’ll buy up a bunch of cards, wait 15 mins and sell them. It’s not a big time commitment. But since they’ve restricted me and are in no hurry to answer my ticket, I guess I can’t make stubs this way either.

It sucks that people are getting flagged as bots but it does show that they are trying to control bots

The question that came up in my mind is how do they differentiate bots from heavy flippers?

My guess is that they are looking at the total number of transactions over a specific time frame or maybe consistent activity over a given time frame? Number of Buy/Sell orders placed in a specific time frame?

@Dolenz_PSN I'm going to guess that it is based on how quickly transactions are entered / edited. The faster those actions are being performed the more it will look like a bot and not a person. For example, if someone is entering / editing 10 orders in under 15 seconds, they look more like bots and not a person, due to normal screen and entry delays.

@Dolenz_PSN I got flagged earlier in the year, and when they manually reviewed they unlocked me.

I'm a heavy flipper, and they told me flipping is totally fine. And by heavy flipper, I'm a heavy "passive" flipper. I put in a ton of orders at once, then sell them back in a few hours.

I just started to put in orders a little more slowly and mix up how many orders I do for each card. I've been fine since.

It's kind of disgusting that people resort to bots, cheats, and exploits in this game. These kids have 0 integrity and ruin things for everyone else.

And they complain when SDS takes action.

I just assume that everyone complaining after doing these things is 12 years old, max. Not to be mean, but there's just no way their brains are fully developed.

I usually give a 2 or 3 count in between buying or selling to make sure I'm not to fast. I also do groups, in between each groups I wait an hour or two before the next. I was put into temporary timeout for like 12 hours earlier on so I did some research on decreasing my odds of getting caught up in a ban of any sort. I also limit the volume I do. I have a stub goal each day, once I hit that goal, I am done for the day. It's worked so far.

Thanks for chiming in everyone. I assume my account will get released once they review. I know I’m not a priority. It’s just annoying to not be able to flip when I’m bored at my desk. Or buy packs. No matter how good at flipping I’ve gotten it’s nothing compared toa Bot. I usually buy about 20-30 cards and as @bridge-piece_xbl - then sell a bit later. Maybe a few hundred transactions max in a day. And yes it’s nice to see them taking some type of action. I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long for them to fix it.

Anyone can go to showzone and look at the market section and sort the columns by sales per minute to see items that are being manipulated by bots. They should start there with trying to combat bots before blindly swinging ban hammers and getting rule abiding players caught up in their enforcement efforts.
