There was an argument to be made for a Spotlight card on Friday as he had, I believe, the 2nd most RBIs for the week. I was actually rooting for him as Detroit was experiencing a very long drought in the game. Martinez was a nice add but many Detroit fans won't be able to get him.
As for his Overall he has gotten huge boosts in his Vs RHP stats but he has gotten a large downgrade (-20) to his Contact vs LHP. He's batting .192 against lefties. Last year he batted .330 against lefties.
