    Why in the 3-hit moment for Paul O’Neill are the Yankees playing Boston with the Houston Astros Roger Clemens pitching?

    And yes, I’m frustrated because I can’t get the three hits. I’ve earned well over 1,000 XP trying. Two hits over and over because of diving catches and lineouts.

    The English language is inadequate to describe my hatred for Moments.

    @maurice91932_PSN

    I got it on my first crack. The biggest issue is that CPU pitchers in Vet throw WAY too many balls. Sit on a high fastball, that helped me.

    @maurice91932_PSN what hitting mode do you use for moments?

    Change it to directional and hold the left stick up. Then just focus on hitting anything up in the zone like the other poster said. Do this for all moments for the rest of time. I hate moments but this changed my game on them. If you already do this, ignore me. I hated this moment as well.

    @maurice91932_psn

    Another thing to try if @ericulous1_xbl method isn’t working for you:

    Definitely switch to directional. Instead of pointing the left stick up, point it to the right. (Not down nor up, just to the right)

    I find this “opens up” the inside pitches (for me) and I can get around on them faster with better contact.

    And, yes, this moment is what gives moments a bad name!!

    Thank you, Gentlemen. Switched to directional and got it on about the fourth try.

    When facing a pitcher like this pick the spot of the zone you hit the best and wait for it to be there.
    I got 2 pitches low in the zone that didn't drop under it and hit them back up the middle for singles then a pitch middle away the third time he tried to paint the outside corner that I got a gapper on to finish.
    Was I lucky? Yes and no, lucky that they didn't drop below the zone and lucky he tried going there the 3rd time but not lucky cause I sat a spot and didn't miss it when I did get it.
    The best strategy is to sit a spot and hit it when it comes and pay attention to patterns , you will get robbed by fielders but this strat makes it much easier.

    I went to Contact swing a few times, as it helped to hit bloopers that fell for hits.

    I remember, for me, I hit a homer and a bloop single for two of the hits.

    On my last at bat, I hit a liner up the middle that hit the pitcher. It ricocheted toward the 3rd base line and O’Neill b-a-r-e-l-y beat the throw to first.

    It took forever.
