I don't play online and got to the boss pack in 2 of the 3 innings, the only inning I didn't get the boss pack is the 1st inning and that was because I worked nights the entire time until inning 2 dropped so I barely had any time to grind
-
If it’s any consolation, I had a brief survey request in my inbox. I took them to task on not having enough offline XP. I just finished Lou Gehrig conquest. All programs, cornerstone and spotlights done. I’m at 81k.
That's 20% of the way to the bosses. You can play the game and get xp. A 3 inning miniseason game in allstar gets you around 500-1000 xp, a 9 inning online game cant get you up to 10k.
Do yall expect to complete the inning program by just logging on a couple times durring the week and completing whatever conquest, program, or miniseason they release just one time?

I play on veteran. I don’t play online at all.
And yes, I expect SDS to put enough offline content out there, so that if I complete it, I can finish an Inning path. That has not been the case so far this year.
-
@capardo_XBL You can still play online man. My son is 10. This is his first year playing the show and he and his little buddies play coop and what not all the time. There are plenty of people in lower ranks to make the game accessible online for everyone. That would really make getting xp alot easier for you!!
-
Truly thanks for the encouragement! I’ve tried online, it was just not for me. A major obstacle: I let CPU run and field for my team. That is not an online option. I also do classic pitching and directional hitting (those I can do online, although a handicap from what I’ve read).
Honestly, if CPU running and fielding were available online, I’d probably wade on in there!

@GoozeFn_PSN lol i suck. But you know what i dont suck at? Trying to get better and knowing I have to play both online and offline if I want collections. I also dont come on forums if im a one way player and complain, about not enough content. When I know i have to play both. Even you can agree thats nonsense. Sure I dont have to be so rude.
-
@capardo_XBL I do agree that offline xp is down this year. My guess is that they want to keep the bosses as expensive as possible. This past inning i don't think soto or lindor dipped below 80k.
In the past bosses were always down to ~20k towards the end. The game we all loved has changed little by little over the past 4 years and the question of "what would our customers like", doesnt get brought up often in the investor meetings.
-
Yup. Agree 100%.
-
I mean, it coulda been so simple:
Add Another tab to the “Legends and Flashback Program”
Have the same missions as online, except double the number needed to get the points rewards. Have those missions be satisfied in any offline DD mode. Keep the 8 day deadline.
Nobody (realistically) is complaining. Everyone (practically) is complementing SDS for listening and “playing your way”. Seriously, low hanging fruit….
Instead, we have these type of discussions every time something new is released. Every. Time.

I dont know about the rest of you. Im tired of playing offline to complete collections. Im sorry if im being rude. Go play rtts or something if you dont want to play online. Bring back more online programs!! Tired of mini seasons, conquest. Its all boring junk. Good for pack grinding thats about it.
how about you play how you want and let others do the same you don't like offline well newsflash some don't like online. You're not sorry about being rude or you wouldn't have said it you just wanted to be a [censored]. everything should be able to be earned NO MATTER how you choose to play offline or online.

I do agree that offline xp is down this year.
This is the first year that I have not earned a single boss pack so far. Part of that is due to Crimson Desert and Forza Horizon but part is due to SDS not giving me enough enticement to play by putting so many Cardinal cards in packs.
-
@MikeB14085_PSN you are able to earn them offline.
-
@Ditka06-_MLBTS I wish I could play online but TMobile users can’t. I fully agree you should be able to play fully online. They have plenty of resources to add enough content for both modes.
-
@cusejuice315_PSN I also have a 40 hour job, a daughter, a girlfriend, I sing in a cover band and do lots of fun activities. I saw Paul Simon singing under the San Diego setting sun last night. I’d just love a little content to play when I come home.
I have no problem with online players getting whatever you all want. Nowhere in my comments did I saw one negative thing about online players getting too much content. I don’t see why it’s so hard for them to make enough content for us all to play how we want to. That was their tagline after all. I’ll try not to lose sleep over you not feeling bad for me but may need to have the nightlight on and a stuffed animal close by as I will be deep in my feelings over your lack of concern. Maybe I’ll listen to some My Chem and write in my journal.
I’d also like to add, I am less concerned with being able to collect any card. I did that twice. Total waste of time. I just want to have stuff to do when I get to play for an hour before bed.

I finally got caught up on this discussion. Phew, had no intention of lighting a match. Guys, I miss playing online. I loved BR. I’m just not gonna make my lady drop her internet provider who gives her a huge discount for being a nurse so I can play a few games a week online. This is the only video game I own or play, so going through that hassle is a bit unnecessary. Plus I get the MLB package for free through T Mobile.
My post was in no way intended as an online versus offline debate. I don’t care how any of you play. That’s your business. I have never complained about having to play online to earn certain cards. All I want is for the one game I play, to have something for me to do.
Offline. Anyway, carry on with the insult flinging I guess. -
@Ericulous1_XBL respect brother.
