This year’s game and content is making me realize sets and seasons were not bad at all

You do have a new inning path. Would a random conquest map, or a DQ with two players you won't use, make you all that much happier?
If the complaint is about not having a good longterm TA grind - I completely agree

If it’s any consolation, I had a brief survey request in my inbox. I took them to task on not having enough offline XP. I just finished Lou Gehrig conquest. All programs, cornerstone and spotlights done. I’m at 81k.
I’ve been playing a game or two of my 9-inning Cityscape mini season. It’s taking forever, which I’m actually enjoying. The other thing I’m doing is vs CPU games to finish the first “level” of TA. Still have about 10 teams to go there. (Mainly need total bases to finish them).
@rubicante23_psn what would make me happier is a conquest or mini season that had repeatable XP in it. Like 10k (or even more) for repeating it. I mentioned it once before: do a 28 game 9 inning mini season and get 100k for winning. (Why not?).

The way I look at it, I’ll need to grind MS & DQ repeatedly in order to sell the rewards to have enough for Ohtani. Hopefully we won’t be in the 9th inning by then.

The complaint is that this year content in general is awful. The inning path doesn’t hive me anything to do. Losing TA was a major mistake. I legit have nothing to play except for doing mini seasons over and over. But you can’t farm XP from that.

@rubicante23_PSN a random conquest map would be great, actually - tack an XP chunk on the end, some packs
also make up a program or something. I play online so I don’t have XP path issues but it seems like it can get a lil sticky if you don’t and aren’t ’grinding efficiently’, whatever that is.

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN yeah, I guess - if you play both online and offline, you should have lots to do. I play this game more than most, and always have a backlog of things to do.
If you're just offline, I agree there should be a longer grind with better XP potential. Not big chunks of XP maybe, but better steady growth

It's sad. I save content after the halfway point in a program to help me complete the next program. This year's game is a massive disappointment, but not nearly as disappointing as SDS's customer service and communication about the WBC miniseason. That was my number one way of farming packs. 7 short games a day, 11 standard packs, 1 BIAH, the championship banner, which 5 can be exchanged, the WBC deluxe pack, which is good for 500 stubs every 3 or 4 Miniseasons, and an occasional 5-pack. Not to mention the TA packs when you hit a milestone. SDS needs to, at the very least, address the issue and either admit they're not going to fix it or explain when they think it will be fixed.

I’m primarily an offline player, yet I complete the online tasks to claim the extra packs from wheel spins too(200k/runs, 300 hits, etc.) I work from home so I can play and work simultaneously. 985 hours in and all I have to play for now is the total home runs for each team in TA. While I realize I’m far from the norm with the hours I’ve put in, there is always something to grind towards still, despite however tediously boring it is. With that being said, Yes the offline content is lacking severely. Between mini seasons and conquest(thank god they have one that rewards 20 packs endlessly now) it’s mostly a daily routine of log in and play the same two modes over and over again to 100% TA.
IMO when people talk about farming “efficiently” it’s grinding those TA missions in mini seasons and conquests that rack up the TA packs. I’ll never give SDS another dime and still have every set collected and plenty of stubs from AH flipping to keep things moving along.

Didn't they advertise a "new program and event" alongside the multiplayer program today?
I see an event, and the multiplayer program, but no "program".

Nothing today sucks though, how hard would it have been to make a separate Legends and Flashbacks program for offline players with the same packs?
It's a small complaint but I would love other ways then conquest and Mini seasons to get cards and stubs, because with the state of the bots the market is not a option

I dont know about the rest of you. Im tired of playing offline to complete collections. Im sorry if im being rude. Go play rtts or something if you dont want to play online. Bring back more online programs!! Tired of mini seasons, conquest. Its all boring junk. Good for pack grinding thats about it.
