But seriously SDS, you're kinda being hypocritical

Hear me out on this, I know there are 2 threads that got locked. Everyone is screaming bans and rightfully so, but we as a community need to stop and think who are the real culprits in all of this.
Is it Joe Shmoe who came across a YouTuber encouraging the violation of the TOS. Perhaps. Or is it the guy or guys or gals who promted said exploit on their channels which definitely is an explicit violation of TOS. Yet we can lock down theeds (rightfully so) on people encouraging violating TOS but yet you have videos of streamers doing it themselves and seemingly doing nothing with your all's hands in you pockets is kinda hypocritical. Those streamers should be banned and a public statement saying bans went into effect on them. That will start building trust in the community.
Who cares about the 15 yo in Puerto Rico who stumbled across this and used it. I am starting to agree that SDS can't really do anything about people using the exploit because it's their fault to begin with. They CAN do something about the streamers who encouraged using the exploit though.
SDS you all need to start building back trust with the community that got you where are today, that starts with banning the streamers who violated the TOS by encouraging this exploit. I don't want free stuff although it's nice and I will take everything I can get from you guys,.legally. I would love the hypocritical nonsense to stop.

While I agree with you it will never happen. Streamers are free marketing for the game and most drop thousands of dollars on the game and then write it off on their taxes. They don’t care if they alienate tons of loyal players as long as the money keeps coming in from the whales, streamers are often at the front of that line.

They should sue this company. They are cheaters and scammers that don’t care about their customers. Hopefully soon. San Diego Scammers! Bots, glitches, arranged games…etc…

I know what should be done usually never happens in reality, sadly.

Yep. Like the real world, money talks louder than anything else.

I dunno why people always try to push this. This game gets beyond embarrassing numbers on streaming platforms. Like currently outside the top 100 on twitch going toe to toe with mario 64.
Nobody watches MLB the show streamers. Threads in here get more views than top mlb streamers. The entire MLB section on twitch hardly breaks through the “could make a living off this” barrier and some of these guys have 95% subs gifted to them. If you don’t know what it means when 95% of your subs were gifted, it means you BOUGHT THEM YOURSELF LMAO. These guys aren’t writing off thousands in taxes for fun. They are literally spending thousands to make it appear like they get views. There is no profit to even write off a lot are just MLBTheShowing4Hope
That madden YouTuber that is currently getting paid to play basically has more views than every MLB the show content creator put together.
They don’t care because they don’t need to care. MLB streamers are some of the most irrelevant streamers on platforms when it comes to game popularity vs viewership, actually probably the lowest across all games.
