Banned Because I was Flipping Cards
-
I’ve been flipping cars. Buying and selling them off and on for the last several weeks. Last week I noticed that whenever I tried to click on a card the app would give me a red error message saying “your account has been restricted”.
I did some digging and found out that this was likely a flag put on my account for suspected botting. I know that bots have been bad on the marketplace this year, but I genuinely was not using them. I first contacted the app support 6 days ago to get them to help remove this ban. I have not heard anything back.
I still cannot use the companion app to buy or sell anything because my behavior may or may not have looked like a bot. Genuinely sad about this. Hopefully I will be able to continue using the app. I just need the support team to actually help me.

Same happened to me. I noticed one hour ago my account works on the app again. I have not heard anything back from my support ticket either. From reading forums and Reddit it’s clear this happened to lots of people. I only read of one guy getting a reply but that reply wasn’t even addressing what he contacted them about. Awful how they restricted tons of accounts with no notice or explanation and unable to provide any help. Awful experience.

My own account was banned April 14th for stub transferring/market manipulation. I don't use bots. I don't transfer for money. I know how to read the market. Then I used my friends account and after doing same system, his account is just restricted. The combination of these 2 accounts resulting in 2 different outcomes proves that SDS are a bunch of crooks. I have been using this system since MLB 18 with no issues. I have advised a bunch of people on my system and some got banned, some got restricted and most are enjoying their millions of stubs. I will never buy MLB The Show again.

#boycottsds Same result. Account restriction despite never using automation or outside markets. All I use is experience from 4 years of playing this game. Lame [censored] explanation from support staff. You got my last dollar sds. Never again.

If you feel like you've been mistakenly banned, feel free to reach out to support. They can look into it for you.

I already sent two separate messages. Zoe replied that I can use the console to place orders but not the app because they suspected using a bot. No proof just some random opinion. It is taking people that are interested in spending their time and money on your company's product and driving them away.
