Give Pro Spirits a try when it drops in July. The little tester version they put out played great, felt far more realistic if that's what you're looking for

resulted in pretty much everyone having all the cards?
That is an exaggeration. In the end I would guess that it was a minority of players who took advantage of the glitch.
That said it was a bad one and the people who did exploit it gained greatly by doing so. If that is the catalyst you need to uninstall then I definitely understand that decision

@Sarge1387_PSN does it have player creator and can you play it in English?
Making an American player who's playing overseas trying to get back to the mlb would be a fun rp.
-
@go4stros25_PSN Not sure about the player creation because I think it was essentially an old-school demo style- it did let you build a team and jersey- a lot more intricately than SDS.
I was speaking from a more gameplay related PoV, but I 100% agree with you

PCI shrinkage is one of the things they got right imo. There just is no way every pitch should have the same pci.

Are you a developer? That would make sense because this is an ignorant take. Did you actually play baseball and I don't mean RF on your little league team? This sounds like something a corporate [censored] came up with that never played baseball.
-
I kinda get where he’s coming from though. If you’re right handed batter facing a right handed pitcher and they throw a sharp sweeper, and you’re way early on it, the range of impact between your bat and the ball is going to largely diminish. You’re not covering as much of the ball surface with your swing if your timing is off and it’s breaking away from you. That’s just my take.
-
@DemIsE4_XBL if you did play real baseball you would know I speak the truth. A perfectly placed slider curve should be harder to hit that a fastball. If you need the pci to stay the same more power to ya but it’s not real.

No joke! Last I checked, the bat doesn't shrink in size if you swing at a pitch down and away!
-
And it’s not harder to hit either. Just have to wait a bit longer and drive it to the opposite field. Anybody that ever played real baseball knows this so it shouldn’t automatically be harder to hit in the game.
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL yea a pitch that can move inches off plain and be thrown a little bit softer than a fastball isn’t harder to hit.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN if you would have played baseball or even looked it up a slider is universally harder to hit than a fastball in general.
-
They took away our ability to invest and make stubs, they allowed cheating and bots, they banned people for playing against bots without warning. They allowed glitches for infinite packs and did nothing to the perps. I will not grind one minute of DD or play ranked again until I see an actual effort that benefits those who do it right. I'll be on Dynasty enjoying myself and won't buy again.
-
This is the dumbest take ever I’m sure you’re a bot. I’m pretty sure when you swing at a slider low and away in real life your bat doesn’t shrink. It’s one thing if this is an arcade style game and goofy quirks are established but for a game that claims to be realist and simulation it’s anything but!!! Please don’t give any credit to sds they have dropped the ball since before launch and they deserve every ounce of criticism they get

the new japanese game is coming out in July.

I'm afraid a lot of people are going to be very disappointed come July. Unless they made major improvements for this new version, the gameplay is pretty bad.
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS I’m convinced you never played baseball before. A slider is a harder pitch to hit than a fastball. No it doesn’t change your bat size lol. But he movement of a slider is harder to track than a fastball. If you need the same size pci for everything more power to you but it’s a cop out. Probably run all switch hitters too huh. But sure I’m a bot
-
@Barfy-Bad-Gas_XBL i get it. I"m with you, unfortunately they are not going to do anything....period. It does put into perspective how much money they are making. When a exploit for free packs can give out literally 10's of thousands of packs and no bans because it didnt hurt their wallets.
-
@LuvMyXBOX_XBL here is the thing, i played the Japanese version last year. You're all excited, you see the graphics, you play and you try to make yourself believe its sooo much better....then you realize in about 2 weeks its ok/good, but not better. Just something different, something that you'll want to believe is better. Its not.
-
lmao I played college and Indy ball and would run circles around you so trust me I know how baseball works. I completely understand a slider is harder to hit but that doesn’t mean in this game you get to shrink the pci. Have you ever played ball other than your little league? Just because you play on rookie and your pci probably never changes it’s different once you get to HOF and legend. The game is already dumb and unrealistic as it is w don’t need shrinkage in this game. You can’t even tunnel pitches or change pitch speeds correctly without someone getting lucky. So don’t try and tell me this game is trying to be realistic. You have no idea how high level ball works so stick to your video game bud
