Question for those who grinded/Did not participate in glitch

I know im definitely in the minority here, but I really dont care about the people who abused this glitch. I couldn't care any less that I grinded away and unlocked the 99 Miguel Cabrera a couple days ago and someone else got him by using a pack glitch.
I play video games because I enjoy them, whatever someone else does has no effect on my enjoyment.
But what if you did not have him yet and overnight the cost of the collection increased significantly because people exploited the glitch?
When I checked this morning Judge and Ohtani were over 100k more expensive than 2 days ago. Simmons was 93k more.
The exploiters basically moved the finish line of me grinding for Simmons weeks if not months further out. That's not cool for me at all

So here's is my question:
Since they wont come out and say whether or not the banned anyone; does it really matter?
If youre saying that if they DONT ban anyone; youre quitting the game, then quit the game.
Don't use it as a threat. Because we ALL know they wont tell us if anyone was/wasn't banned.

Really fed up this year myself. I do spend some money on stubs usually during the sales. I do ok so it doesn't bother me to spend some money on the game as its pretty much all i play once it comes out every year. But I have been down to Judge and Ohtani for LS for a while now and its just beyond [censored]. I have grinded a lot of mini seasons as I don't mind playing it. Then i grind out the multiplayer program to get those rewards also. But there are lots of issues with this game this year that bug me. The menus are trash no other way to describe it takes longer to load into a showdown than to do it. the market cap is weak considering how many stubs people have made with this glitch now but i can't buy more than 20 of a card. the graphics i dont think have changed since it went to next gen which is BS. Then we get the live streams where ashley and carson just never answer anything that players want to hear just recycle the next cookie cutter program with different card art. Collections should not rely on pack luck or purchases the lightning series for chipper was crazy. They learned that after the first retro last year and then first one this year they went right back to the same bad formula lmao. lots of frustration for sure. sorry for my rambling all over the place comment.

We are now well into Monday. Has anyone heard anything from sds yet? Any response from them on this at all yet? If they think they can sweep this under the rug they are wrong.

seems like they barely work during the week unless its to promote another cookie cutter program

I find this egregious enough that @SDS should say something and soon. Otherwise, the message to people like me who spend money is to never spend money again, wait for a glitch, and exploit it till the cows come home

I was wondering why everything seemed to go up this weekend on the marketplace. It will probably take a a few weeks for the market to correct itself. But this is so sad. Love the series but the amount of glitches this year would make me extremely upset as the higher ups because this game potentially could lose a lot of people and good will.

They ruined the entire market and sds isnt doing a [censored] thing about it. I spend about 1000 on this game every year. I may buy the gane next year, but I wont guve them a single dollar extra.
Every year there is some new exploit that these players use and get more value than those of us who financially support this company. Im done.

If they ban the glitchers and not the outright cheaters, I’m done with this game for good. I’ve been playing since 2015. No matter which way they go, they’re gonna take a loss.

They have banned cheaters though. The ones they have proof of are given the boot.
I can't believe how people struggle with this so much:
There isnt a foolproof method to catch all cheaters. There is a risk of false ban that they want to avoid.There is zero risk of false bans with this exploit. You had to do something very specific to trigger it that wouldn't naturally be done. There isnt a single valid excuse to not ban everyone who did this. Obviously the people that did it a couple of times can get a pass or a 1 day ban, but people that did 100s or spread this? full year ban.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Yeah, I really don't understand the gaslighting, unless it's just people that did it not wanting to face consequences for their actions. They don't even have to find out who did it. They already know. The Show logs every game. If you won multiple games in a row in five minutes, you were exploiting, period. There is NO way to legitimately get the results they were getting. The fact that there is a single person defending the actions of blatant cheaters shows how broken society as a whole has become. This should not even be a discussion.

I'm seriously considering it. My wallet is certainly closed now. Why play with Integrity if cheaters are rewarded and those who play with integrity are punished?
