Alimber Santa Milestone card?

@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS found the Rangers fan lol
Actually can't stand the Rangers.

I just don't think combining for an achievement counts. Should we say a team "combined" for a 4 HR game because 4 players hit one? What's the difference between that and some pitchers throwing a couple good innings each?
Just my 2 cents. -
@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS
fine we will call it a good game pitched by 3 pitchers. -
@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS I mean, theres only been 22 combined no hitters in the history of baseball. Combined+No Hitter/Perfect game only 327 times. It's a big deal when a team shuts a team down like that. Multiple teams combine for 4 hrs in a game literally daily lol

I bet he and Bobby Grich get a Christmas program this year.
-
@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS diamondbacks fan then?
-
Of course it’s not as impressive as a CG no-hitter, but it’s still pretty hard to do and should be celebrated. I do think the catcher of a combined no-no should get some love, if they called the game, that is. If the catcher is just relaying calls from the dugout, then not so much.
-
Combined no hitters aren't real. It's like saying a team "combined" to hit for the cycle.
So stupid that they e started celebrating [censored] like this.
-
I also am not a fan of the “combined no hitter”. To me, it’s an extremely well pitched game by Houston.
-
Dustin May threw 7 no hit innings last night striking out 9 and walking nobody in those innings. More than any of these guys and equal to what Imai and Okert did combined. He most likely won't receive a mid 90s card for it since the Cardinals lost.
So while I don't have any problem with the combined no-hitter cards it seems a little unfair to other pitchers who match those individual performances but don't get a card.
Maybe May gets a Topps now next week. We will have to see if Topps gives him one today.
-
@Dolenz_PSN I really thought he was gonna do it.
-
@Dolenz_PSN if anything this is an argument for celebrating the co-no - gotta get those last two hitless innings. And sure, it’s not May’s fault he got only one run of support, but I watched that game and as you point out he did end up taking the L.
