Judge & Ohtani
-
I've completed the LS every year since I started DD in 2020, usually by May. I don't see how I'll do it this year without pulling Ohtani or Judge. I have over 600k in stubs, but I'm focusing on the other collections at this point. Feels weird, though.

I have decided to completely punt the national league. Im not throwing a million stubs for Albert and Troy. I finished American league and wish I hadn't. Because this Felix card isnt that good. If I didnt do the American league I would have every best card in the game besides Felix Albert and Troy. That would have made way more sense to me.

So now with the stub sale judge is approaching 600K and Ohtani 800K respectively. The ridiculousness continues.
If they weren’t worth it, people wouldn’t be paying it.

Your OCD is talking. The cards aren’t even remotely worth 2,000,000 stubs. It also isn’t worth PVing and entire teams roster that you never use…yet here you are mastering OCD instead of living with it. You’ll have every card in September bro don’t worry, Shark map!!!!

I have had the LS collection done for almost a month but haven’t locked it in because Tulo and Pujols don’t do it for me. I’m putting my efforts into other collections. Those other cards better suit what I want anyway. But if they don’t put a cap on those guys they will remain crazy priced for awhile.

Shark map!!!!
If they nerf the Shark Map this year...
I mean, it's been nerfed a little every year since I've been playing. 5 standard packs for everyone!

@LHUBison58_XBL just sell them big collection cards aren’t usually relevant all year anyways. Might as well capitalize on the market.

You and me both. 229 hours in the game and still over 850k from collections. Just pulled another diamond today. Suzuki for 3k. Another 249 of those and I can get Ohtani. smh.
Still looking for a consistent connection in this game. Had one that felt good Friday and then Saturday and today seeing 95 mph faster than streamers legend pitches.

I just pulled Judge out of the silver topper on a 10 show pack.

This year it was the bad swings collection until the community complained about it, all three major collection RH hitting cards have mid-terrible swings. I regret completing these collections, Miggy is no longer in my lineup and Troy and Pujols will be replaced earlier than ever.

The way they give out single standard pack rewards and 500 stubs a clip shows just how much they want you to buy stubs. An average pack probably has about 200-300 stubs worth the value so 200-500 stubs at a time get you nowhere close.
The way they treat high tier and chase card pulls are worse than actual hits in real baseball cards. Plus these virtual cards are not real and have zero real world value. If you pull a big hit for a real pack you can make actual money off it. In this game it’s all opportunity cost and eventually is worth zero when the season winds down.
I can’t wrap my head around making pull rates so abysmal. Unless there are a bunch of people absolutely addicted to buying packs I don’t see how this strategy drives stub sales. If anything it seems to put most people off the game and swear against spending when they feel like their time isn’t worth anything.
