Multiplayer wheel

Ngl y’all I fear the boosting issue risks them taking away the wheel
I don’t think so - I think that’s why they chose IP as the criteria.
Boosting is going to happen regardless but unless I’m missing something it won’t be advantageous to run scores up when you need innings pitched to repeat the 5k.
I think it encourages people to stop quitting when down, etc too so maybe there will be more completed games. We shall see.
It’s actually pretty smart to do IP instead of pxp to help combat the bots or boosting

@JenkinMeyer_PSN Yes, I just wish they fixed partial inning and let missions roll over mid game.

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN Just ban the people boosting. Seems pretty simple.
I would much rather them ban the device users. I could care less if 2 people want to beat up on each other 120-110.

True, but I am guessing that boosters are much easier to detect. Just need a program to scan all the online box scores that get saved.

Yeah agreed. It’s no harm to anyone if people do that, they’ll either get the rewards fast via boosting or slower due to time but everyone can complete the MP program so the bot types are the bigger issue, to me.
Can’t boost to World Series, have to win to up your ranking so I think they’re on the right track

If you really wanted, you could say any stats after you score 10 runs dont count anymore? But the bots are the way bigger plague.

Something like that or force the “run rule” to happen even in the top of an inning as opposed to only at the end of the inning - so that once someone is up 10 runs it’s end game immediately.
Do that for multiplayer but not Offline. Just an idea
Most people aren’t sticking around when down 10 runs anyway so I don’t think you’d get people upset at that change.

@DemIsE4_XBL Ban both.

SDS sponsored content creators were win trading to WS like 5 years ago. It’s not only possible, it’s incredibly easy. I’m sure people do it day 1 and sell the card immediately lol this is just as big of an issue as the cheaters. Even bigger for SDS they don’t care if you got cheated out of a win. They care about people selling accounts with collections done and stubs online.

I agree with you but I bet statistically it’s a very small percentage of their user-base that engage in those shenanigans
The goal is to make it fair for the average once a day player. Most people don’t live like streamers or care whatsoever what streamers are doing because they’re not competing in those high rank World Series brackets. Let the 1000 rank players govern themselves
