I completely understand. By the time 99s are released there are so many other 99s that most won’t be touched. I like playing offline to build a personal classics squad. I like Richie Ashburn’s on-base machine, but he will never crack my outfield against Mantle, Ruth, Musial, Williams, Mays, Aaron, Snider, Greenberg, Clemente, etc. I think some of these lesser 99s should come into the game much sooner. -
I wish SDS would wake up. Do something fun. Address the fanbase.

I've gone back to playing MLB 25, purely because I can play with 99 overalls.
Disagree. The power creep is about the only thing good with this game. Game gets very stale when it is all 99's.

But how are you saying there's nothing to do? There was Event program. And new mini season. And conquest maps. And a pretty grindable Diamond Quest. And you could stub grind for miggy or spotlight. And now there's programs today and Thursday. And then WC and its rewards. Are you doing all that?
I was all for bashing them in the 3-4 weeks no content before cityscapes - but now, there's so much to get through. I have played a ton for the last 2 years and sometimes have trouble getting through everything in this mode
If you're committed to No Money Spent, getting through everything is a J-O-B in this game.

There are long term goals in the game, but they just arent very well designed.
What if instead of generic hit a metric [censored]-ton of HR with a team for very spaced out show pack rewards there were, i don't know, multiple ways to earn vouchers by playing different mode with a specific theme team? And with additional cards you could earn along the way? And maybe some rewards in general that scale as the season goes on because a 20 bundle loses value every day?
Oh this sounds more like the old TA doesnt it?
And there is the other big long term goal, collections. Which is just a hamster for wheel for packs to get stubs to buy cards directly instead of feeling like you earning specific cards

The 21/23 TA model worked so well. I appreciated the attempt at change in 25 and welcomed an iteration but they went in the wrong direction. And the worst thing they did was try to sell on their stream that cityscapes was possible because they got rid of TA. It was a good drop, but not remotely near TA big.

It’s weird they keep chosing to do nothing. Once Zens infiltrate a game it’s basically over. They don’t get banned, the scripts just become better over time so cheaters are going nowhere. Offline players are falling further and further behind, so they choose to keep content rolling as usual with the fortnite battle pass strategy and please nobody. In a month the only people left playing this game 3 moments at a time every two weeks will be the addicts that would relapse if they lost MLB the show. Thankfully for SDS people got addicted 10 years ago when they had actual C grade Devs and not the D- ones they have now.
I’ll just pay 30$ and have the games play themselves from my phone lmao. I’m no longer NMS boys. #zengang4life

I'd love a mode that makes you form different teams - give me good practical ways to use all these cards...it wouldn't be that hard. Otherwise, only a super small amount of rewards are actually usable

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS cheating comes up like every other post on here. But like, its not gameplay cheating that should bug people - except for the very few people who are 1000 rank and over players (where the cheaters are)
The cheaters "earning" all kinds of stubs and ruining the market for everything is what most people should care about, right?

@rubicante23_PSN I would say neither is most or MORE important than the other. The most important thing is having a game that’s fun and rewarding to play. You can make a game fun and rewarding to play online AND offline. You can make a game fun and rewarding with AND without a live market. You ARE allowed to release content that isn’t purchasable.
The most important thing is to realize NOBODY is happy except cheaters who are loving it, then it’s important to have enough intelligence to check your ego and realize the games reward path needs tweaked. It’s okay to realize you made a mistake and keep making that same mistake. Repeating it constantly is the problem. They are getting very close to ignorance, not from me, not from online players, not from offline players, not from NMS players, not from I collect every card by the end of the year so who cares players. From every single one of those types of players.
Spend 10 minutes and add in extreme with some decent rewards now and not 7 months from now. It will go a long way with people that can’t stop running into cheaters. Stop making everything require every mode, that will go along way with online/offline only players. Add ONE SINGLE CARD that you can’t buy, that will go along way with people that have played this game for years because it was the game you had to earn cards you COULD NOT BUY.

Why do people always think the cheaters are in the 1000's? They are everywhere. People get cheats, make new accounts and they are starting at 0 in ranked. People that can't get past 300 get cheats. Guess what? They have to play in the 4-500's. I hope you get the point.

I’ve never been so frustrated with an event in my life…it’s played like dog water all weekend, factor in cheaters and it was just unplayable. Finishing games was next to impossible.
