Not to mention negativity sells.
Misery loves company. People who are disatisfied, not just with this game but with anything really, want to have their criticisms validated by others. Even this forum is less interesting to visit because of it. There are many valid complaints to be sure but the overabundance of negativity gets old for me, even though I am not thrilled with iwith the game myself
As for YouTubers and Streamers, I am sure that most of them loved the game when they started their channels. I actually give them some credit cause it is not easy to build a successful YouTube channel. It takes a lot of work and dedication. But when you take something that you used to do for fun and turn it into something you feel obligated to do daily then becoming jaded is inevitable.
I think the game sucks. I also think 99.9999% of streamers suck also. Just a cesspool of scum.

Gomes has been CRANKY this year. He banned me from Chat too.
Honestly I cant click on videos that gas the crappy content we have gotten since New Threads. I get the titles need to be clickbaity in nature, but once I saw the inning 2 video that mentioned great content I stopped watching his videos.

there are 4 i like to watch, the others get on my nerves.
Daddy D, as he seems just like a fun guy, and i feel i'm on par with his skill level, and he seems to bring players up instead of put them down.
KDJTV, he is more informative, i like his honest commentary.
KevinGHOD or whateve, just makes me laugh. He's the Danhausen of the streaming community (if you know you know)and finally
YFK, yes he's an arrogant not nice guy at times but he's good, real good. Plus, his rants on the issues with the game are great. -

There was a post about this on Reddit that promptly got removed by moderators
SDS should be thoroughly embarrassed and their license to produce this game should be revoked
They literally will not do anything about cheaters because they’re too incompetent to do so
Couple that with their actions showing they do not care about their community, this franchise is cooked

Gomes is super balanced and fair in his opinions about the game - i dont hate on someone just for trying to please the algorithm with clicky titles. The streamers who are insanely good at the game usually live in bizarro land where they only care about the stuff that affects them (and isn't relevant for the rest of us who arent going Flawless every five days).

The same thing is going on in NBA2k26... its just going to be a revolving door on any PvP games moving forward now, in my opinion. Any games that have timing based systems I think. And I dont know how it can be fixed to be honest.
How can it? Look at stats and if someone is hitting above a certain avg ban them?

@MadDogTannen777_XBL I mean I’m not a software or video game programmer, they are, should be on them to figure that out. Some sort of program that can identify a players who is using 3rd party software
Sad thing is, I guarantee SDS doesn’t have the resources to combat this. So what will happen? We’ll see nothing done. This company no longer deserves anyone’s money in my opinion

@MadDogTannen777_XBL that's not logical. Sorry people who don't cheat hit well in this game. Just because i cannot doesn't mean others can. It's a slippery slope tbh. Too many people lose a game and think they are actually better than they are...so obviously the other guys cheating. There are cheaters 100%. There are also some really good players in the community.

Did I not just create a post 2 days ago saying this game was infested? I believe I did. People think just because you're not a top player (hint - a ton of those are cheating)or have a bad record you can't see these things. They are stealing stubs and making the online game play miserable. How many stubs have these people got while cheating, WC, BR, DQ runs, etc? This stuff is really easy for me to see. I am a very analytical person.

So here is the deal. You can't just ban someone based on average because yes, some people are good.
I believe I have posted this before but these things are done through hardware. A Microsoft executive once said every gaming company has the tools to detect these through the API (application programming interface). SDS simply does not have the resources to ban these devices as it costs significant amounts of money and once you do ban they have a workaround in usually around a day. If HUGE gaming companies like COD, BF6, Fortnite and even Sony and Microsoft (which I believe they actually could if they really wanted to) themselves can't ban them there is zero chance of a company like SDS. What they should be able to do is detect these through the API and permanently ban the accounts of the person doing it. This would also take resources that I'm not sure SDS would do. Games like COD whitelisted their streamers/partners knowing [censored] well they were cheating. They have finally been called out on it the last few years. Also clips of COD streamers getting shadow banned and calling their contacts and getting the ban lifted. The entire gaming industry is corrupt. I simply don't trust SDS to do either at this point. I will gladly come on here and make a post if they start banning cheaters and do not whitelist anyone.

What’s the point cheating in a video game, it’s not like you make World Series, you get millions of dollars, your dream home and dream wife, you get a gold Clayton Kershaw, like cool man, you scripted and won.

Well.. if you cheat you get all the best rewards, which essentially means you dont have to spend as much money as them. At least thats my opinion.
