What happened to offline content?

When I played through 3 mini seasons , all conquest maps and was still short 300k + for the inning program I uninstalled the game. I don’t have the time to complete the innings program an I don’t have the patience for the inconsistency of multiplayer. Placing mlb the show in th bucket that Madden and nba 2k live in. I’ll dabble if it hits game pass otherwise I can’t be bothered

Completely understand. The game is officially not for most of us casual gamers anymore. They have moved into the niche market for people who live on the game or spend tons of money. The game on clearance shows that stub sales have clearly dried up as people are seeing it for what it has become.
The reigns will be loosened as the year goes on but they have been way too tight since launch. Even compared to the past couple years it feels extreme.

The innings program really isn't that much xp. Im guessing most regular players are doing several wheel spins at the end of innings - and should be doing wheel at end of multiplayer too (if only it existed!)

I'm just up to Will Ferrell and the only thing I havent done is showdown (Im in a hotel and it absolutely impacts my hitting so Ill wait until Im back home). Granted Ive barely played this inning because there isnt any content.

@Teak2112_MLBTS lol, Will Ferrell. Is that autocorrect or you? By the way, it would be nice if the announcers actually told us some interesting facts about the legends. They actually do have a Rick Ferrell line, I think...but there sure isn't enough lines about players

At this rate I don’t think I will unlock an inning boss all year. I’ve never struggled before. XP is f’d and it sucks.

@GoozeFn_PSN I never got it that quickly, but I am similar to you this innings.
It's become far less rewarding, especially with the nothing 'rewards' along the way.At least throw in a choice pack of cards from innings one, or something other than a base pack or 750 stubs.

This game has possibly the worst battle pass Ive ever seen, though granted I don't play that many games with battle passes.

@thrillho709_PSN This is the biggest thing! Give us a pack bundle for repeating some conquest maps. I hate playing mini season because the stats are never correct.

This year's goal at SDS = make Rookie horrible to play and force everyone to play PVP. Then because we have to play PVP, we'll spend real money to buy packs. Yet they don't understand that as long as pull rates are garbage, we're not going to waste what little expendable money we have on a video game that doesn't reward us.

At this point, they should really eliminate offline from Diamond Dynasty and send those NMS players to RTTS or Franchise. Offline players don't contribute enough revenue and very few online players enjoy having to grind offline modes to collect needed cards.

Ive already started my yearly franchise. There just isnt anything to do in DD. In years past the city connect would be a program or a conquest, this year they just give them to you in a free pack.
This game used to be so good.
