This game is way too hard for beginners

Guessing you have no life. Congrats. Glad a video game defines your identity. For the rest of the normal people out there we have made very clear points that are obviously way too far above your level of intelligence. We are all super impressed that you can mash on legend though. Does that help feed your massive ego?

I’ve said this for years and have been a WS player every one of those. My niece is 7 and can win on Fifa at the lowest difficulty 5-0 every game. It would take her years to be able to score five runs in this game. Not that she wants to, plays it, or has interest, but I’m sure some kids do. I’m sure some people with bad eyes, slow reflexes or mental issues wanted to try it and did for a hour at the most.
I played RTTS last night because I’m sort of waiting for Friday. I played on Allstar. I play every DD game on legend for the bonus PXP. I got pV on Bobby Witt in less than 60 at bats. I promise you I had “solid contact +5” on EVERY dynamic challenge and didn’t complete a single challenge for the bonuses through high school and have one college game left. What type of new player would have enough fun failing every challenge lol.
Who are we gate keeping from completing offline content? Kids? Retired people? Mentally disabled? What is the point….just make rookie automatic like every other sports game. They aren’t about to take over BR and win millions of stubs….thats what cheaters are doing.

@TripleH-4481_PSN Lol mash on legend? He’s just another guy that thinks you can’t see his stats and wanted to sound cool. His 99 Felix is 13-19 with a 5.31 era….OFFLINE. Zero ranked games (who woulda thought)…just in the lab grinding lmao

@JenkinMeyer_PSN I want to piggy back off this because I agree 1000 percent. Stop coming in here insinuating people suck. Everyone has a right to enjoy this game without getting pounded on and told to get better. You do not want to jump online and play nothing but pros every game! Unfortunately that is what's starting to happen now. Why do you think the 500 rank is so hard to get past now. Wrong attitude to have.
-
@jenkinmeyer_psn They are.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS yeah as a decent online player I’m a ws player who plays well over 500 ball and I will try to restrain from calling anybody bad at the game. tbh if a player comes online and gets it handed to them I respect them for even venturing online. I get everybody gets there joy in different forms the gaming community needs to work on this and become more accepting of people having fun. like not everybody is pros not everybody can hit on all-star or hof and that’s ok as long as ur having a good time while doing it people just gotta learn to do them and not worry what other people think.

Cool we’re in agreement. Say so on their survey for whatever it may hopefully be worth.
You speak nothing but truths to me
They’ve got to fix their matchmaking or make it a world wide ranking under the covers so bots can play bots, pros can play pros, and T ballers can play t ballers.
Some people’s mindset is likening it to trying to teach your kid baseball. Then some [censored] hits him in the head with an aluminum bat and says Get Gud
At T-ball
Furthermore half the streamers or “pros” are only good at pattern recognition they wouldn’t survive a friendly softball game in real life
Tubby, chunky, useless cowtowers to their man the click.
-
@JenkinMeyer_PSN oh yeah I completed the survey and mentioned most of this on there.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN right. I respect every player who goes online and at least tries to get better. If they are bad I even message them and try to help. Stop the toxicity. Its a game no one cares how great or how bad you are.

There are good people out there. Unfortunately there are lots of elites who do demean others to make them feel good about themselves. Definitely appreciate you guys and others who respect and accept players of all skill levels. -
Just my experience but I think rookie/veteran got harder a few weeks ago. I'm not very good but can consistently win offline on All Star by like a run. I play different levels depending on what I'm trying to accomplish. When I was grinding for total bases, I went with rookie/ veteran. For PXP, I went All Star.
While grinding mini seasons a month ago, easily hit the hits/XBH season challenges on veteran. Now I have to let the CPU extend games in the playoffs to get it. I had better success against the same cpu with my 87s than I do with Pujols and Tulowitzki now.

@SQT18_XBL
Do you feel that one of the game updates included a change that made rookie/veteran more difficult in the last few weeks? What you describe sounds similar to what I have usually done in others years, but I see the 100XBH for TA to be somewhat daunting. Only done about three teams so far when I hoped to be much further along by now -
I feels that way. I only started playing last year so I don't have a lot to compare it to. If there was an update, I think it affected hits off the center of the ball.
I'm trying to get better at zone hitting but struggle to get the meat of the bat on contact. Most of my hits are off center. In the past, that could equal to solid contact on lower levels. Now, off center contact equals fly outs and weak grounders. Similar to what has always happened on higher levels.
