Simulation stats

TBH i stopped playing RTTS until this was addressed, just been doing franchise so can't confirm nor deny
-
@Christuffer9917_PSN Kind of crazy how baseballs games in the early 2000's were so in depth in career/franchise compared to now. Devs only care about modes that you buy [censored] in.
This is par for the course for almost all sports games these days.
Just check out any major title to see how disgusting things have become.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN it might be fixed. I simmed almost 1/2 season and my 82 ovr player was hitting over .300 with similar k% and bb%. Previously he sucked when I would sim every other series
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN I tried a season sim on my 2b player. Contact for both lefties and righties at 80, plate vision and plate discipline at 86, clutch at max, power at 67 and speed at 84. I hit .236
-
@easedel_MLBTS fair enough
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN It seems a bit better than it was but sim stats still seem way below what they should be. I've simmed 3 seasons with 99 both contact and 99 discipline to test the update, and only one of those seasons (barely) touched .300 avg, and none of them hit .400OBP.
For reference (99 overall player with 99 contact and 99 discipline) full sims of seasons with at least 600AB:
(avg/obp)
Season 1: .302/.388
Season 2: .267/.337
Season 3: .272/.351Also, this isn't for RTTS specifically, but clutch seems to do literally nothing while simming, RISP stats seem unaffected.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN I tried again today, seems a lot better
-
Those 3 seasons seem fine to me.
I think the issue was you had guys like that or all star type players that were below mendoza line for BA OBP SLG.
Like when i was doing RTTS, since some dumb reason your player isn't given off days, I would sim a week or two and id get a notification from the coach that my player was struggling and either hitting below 200, slugging under 250, etc. When all season he was sitting at + war type numbers. With 70+ contact, disc, power etc
Simming seemed to just ignore upgraded or improved attributes.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN yes. 95 overall closer doesn’t even get 20 saves in a season. Same with my catcher. power hitter, 85 overall, hits maybe 8 home runs in a season. Please fix this ASAP.
-
Also CPU roster construction is weird. I’m in 2035 and most teams best player is an 88 overall. I don’t know if that’s just my sim or what.
-
Correction: I just simmed to the all star break with my 95 overall closing pitcher. I had 1 save the entire first half of the season. 11 strike outs. All of the relevant ratings are in the high 80s, low 90s.

^^ end of season:
70 Games
1 Save
18 IP
21 H
2 R
2 ER
19 SO
1.00 ERA
1.39 WHIP
80 TBF
9.50 K/9
2.00 BB/9
1.00 HR/9Ratings:
H/9 v R: 89
H/9 v L: 88
K/9 V R: 81
K/9 V L: 81
HR/9: 86
Control: 99
Clutch: 8998 OVR Knuckle Ball
86 2 Seam
91 Screw Ball
80 4 SeamI’m the highest overall on my team. My team was just under .500
I’m reverting my save, but I’d like to add that, my managers in game are dumber than rocks. Last post season, I was holding my one and only appearance in the ALDS against the Yankees. We were down 2-0 in the series in game 3. 0-0 in the 9th. I go 1-2-3 in the 9th, and then allow one hit in the 10th, striking out the next two batters I faced. I get pulled on the fourth batter before I can get the final out. They put in a guy with an 18 ERA on the post season. We lost 2-0.
At this point I was 90 Overall. Just finished 2nd in Cy Young voting, won reliever of the year. Had 58 saves on the year to 60 opportunities. And they pulled me with the season on the line, with my pitch count only at 25.
Just seems like everything with the mode is bugged. But please, for the love of all that is good, fix the sim stats.

This is awesome info, guys -- thanks! It sounds like we've made some progress, but there may still be some further improvements that can be made. I'll share this with the team to continue internal discussions.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN Just to mention, the performance stats dont match with my attributes. Power: 82 vs right-hand side and 80 vs left-hand. Contact: 81 vs right-hand side and 80 vs left-hand side. And I just so happen to be a switch hitter too. A fully simulated season should have me hitting at least 30 homeruns and 4.00 era.
