    @Dolenz_PSN

I don’t think this would be that hard to automate, very different than the bot situation. A script could be created to flag game results over X amount of runs. Once account is flagged it could then run a script to watch for additional games from that account that go over the predetermined threshold, too many flags and your account gets locked. This way they aren’t automatically locking down accounts because they may have had 1 or 2 really good games, they get locked when it’s a pattern. It’s pretty easy stuff for AI automation, especially with pattern recognition and set parameters.

They could even automate responses sent to support from the accounts affected so they wouldn’t need additional man power on the support side.

I think it really goes back to laziness or indifference.

@SavageSteve74_PSN or how about get rid of multi player program and go back to the way online used to be so they dont have to monitor it. You are missing it bro.

No, I'm a realist. They aren’t going back, they’ve shown a recent obstinacy of refusing to look backwards.

SDS wants to push players to play online, even though some (very likely more than 2/3rds) DD players don't like online play. They need to entice them with good, but obtainable rewards. But people just want those rewards fast so they can go back to having fun.

Online boosting is really no different than playing at blank slate offline. I don't do either, but if other people want to than I don't care. They just wont get it from me.

@Teak2112_MLBTS ive been playing this game for 6 years. Ive never seen an online issue until the past two years. People would play events never had an issue matching up with people. Why do they need to push players online? I remember when I first started playing i played a 100 event games to get 30 wins. I didnt care i was just starting off. I sucked. You are either an online player or you are not. This game unfortunately just gets worse and worse every year now. Thats no longer looking like one man's opinion but a trend majority saying now. Disappointing

If anything they force you to play stale offline modes that is as fun as watching grass grow. Majority of online players are forced to to do offline [censored]. To each their own.

Of course they wont you to play offline.

Offline modes are where majority of the playerbase is and gameplay is actually amazing offline

    Online is a mess

I think you should have to play all modes (even some RTTS and storylines, etc) Getting all the content should mean you do all the stuff and you do it on all the levels. I dont like the "just let me play how I want!" argument - if you just wanna play with your god squad and pencil bat in Coors Field on Ranked, okay, but then you dont earn all the rewards

@rubicante23_psn . And if they do that then they will lose alot of people who play this game. You can't force people to do things

Its kind of funny that online players will often say "you should do everything to get all the rewards!"
Yet offline players would rarely say "no, you must do the USA conquest and a 28 game, 9 inning miniseason to get all the rewards"

My personal take is there should be elite online cards for WS that can be earned offline two innings down the road. Making timed exclusivity encourages people to play different modes without requiring it

All good ideas, but one thing everyone can agree on is offline or online this game is not play how you want.

Admittedly offline players have it better because they can at least buy the online cards, but yes.
I dont know which slogan is more ridiculous, play how you want or grind 99 (which theyve at least stopped using as much)

SDS wants more people online and the only way to do it is a reward path that puts you at a disadvantage if you dont do it. All problems would be solved if online and offline played the same, you would see more people playing online. Offline is smooth, pci placement and pitch feedback are accurate. Online plays sluggish, sometimes players look like they are in quicksand, and then off course you have to worry about the person you are playing againsts doing something stupid. Some past versions of the show I enjoyed the online challenge. This year its get in, get the pathic event rewards and multiplayer path complete and get out of online play.
