500K XP is A Lot
-
@XxDeathReyxX_PSN 500 isn’t a lot at all. It used to be a million. There needs to be balance between those who play a lot and those who don’t. Some people aren’t meant to complete it.
Also, look through all the programs, mini seasons and conquest for chunks of xp.
It used to be a million, but then they cut game-earned XP in half to match lowering the XP required, remember? So it only looks like the lowered the bar.
That being said, there's ways to attain the XP like everyone's saying. Unfortunately, in my experience Conquest is a crapshoot on whether or not it plays true to the difficulty setting, and Diamond Quest left a bitter taste after last year so I tend to avoid it.
This is why games shouldnt use slogans like 'play your way' unless they really mean it.
When SDS marketed "Play your way"...what they really meant was "play your way, but only the way we want you to". I enjoy ranked, but hate Events because they're generally chock full of WAAC type players, which fine whatever, I'm just there to get my missions done and nothing more. If I accidentally win a few it's a bonus, but personally I'd prefer to NOT be forced into playing certain modes to attain the rewards- just keep them tied to ALL MP modes.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Gotcha, I do the same thing half the time
-
It’s all about multiplayer. Also, I think the program completions used to be 10k-40k, but it doesn’t look like that’s there this year. so people completing programs off-line aren’t getting that XP for program completion that we used to.

@aaronjw76_PSN I just complete the programs (bare minimum) and have had 3 spins already and playing every other day the last 10.
If you grind the same things over and over for stubs or packs, then you’re not going to progress much. But doing all the programs to completion gets you there quick.

I completed every offline program, grinded out several Jolt cards in TA, and played a ton of RTTS in between content, and ended somewhere in the 470s. Unless they expected everyone to complete all the TA stuff in 1st Inning there is definitely a math problem here. I guess Inning Bosses is just going to be another "online player only" thing now.

somewhere in the 470
I ended up at like 468k. Just didn't have the time required to put into it, and I played a solid amount.

I got my first wheel spin Thursday... and got nothing.
Got my 500 000th point during a game while I won the World Cup final. I got the festivites animation. Never saw the wheel, even though my points total clearly show I achieve the milestone.
Open a ticket about it. I am not holding my breath...
-
It’s crazy I got there fast but apart from early access and WBC, I didn’t play as much this year. Just concentrated on XP rewards. All the programs are super short and WBC MS is only 7 games. Haven’t finished any other MS. I got 3-4 spins I believe
-
@pacadie09_NSW getting to 500k only unlocks the wheel. You have to get 30k more for your first spin and 30k each after that.

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I did not know that! Thanks for the information!!
