@Onix_Savage22_PSN Some just can't handle the truth. It ruins their narrative.

@LIONED-33_XBL no I believe u im just asking for ur method my pack luck has just been rly good. i dont rly have a attack plan at the rest of the collection tho what would u recommend?
-
cool, dont believe me, i dont care. All i'm saying is this post is not accurate. It's strait fear mongoring, "Oh god, SDS makes it almost impossible to be NMS." I'm saying it's not. Again, believe what you want. I'll have Tulo by Sunday or Monday. The OP, and others will still be on these forums complaining

Having collections done and having a competitive online team are 2 completely different things. It is easy to have a competitive online team. Extremely difficult to get collections done without:
flipping
spending money
getting extremely lucky pack pulls
being a 10 win br person which makes you elite (then we can talk about cheating which is out of hand)I would actually say impossible to have collections done without those. Not really sure how you can argue that point seeing what I have done, sold pretty much everything and still at least 1.5 million short.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN i literally sell everything. everything, minus diamonds. I play mini seasons, to grind out TA. When I get all the diamonds for a team, i'll buy the rest of the team. By then its only 2k to complete, minus a couple. My first Division to complete was the AL East, Judge being a big card, but i wanted that Pedroia, so i saved up for Judge, slowly started picking off cards. I got lucky with pulls, Pulled, Acuna 2x, Lindor 3x, and Skenes. I bought all the AL high diamonds, to complete the Felix, by then i've pulled most of the low end diamonds in the NL. I literally bought Soto last night. I'll continue to sell everything i pull til i'm done with Ohtani. Made the rest of collecting not hard. Also, dont make the mistake of quick selling those Gold/Silver uniforms. those are 200 stubs a piece.

@DemIsE4_XBL Weather you can or you can't you're right. again its not hard.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN sorry wasn't talking about you.
-
@LIONED-33_XBL fair do u literally play mini seasons like 24/7 and is it just rinse and repeat wbc one? Also Felix worth it? I feel like he will get blown up in this game just like every other pitcher but at same time he’s so far ahead of everybody else he may not.

You literally just said "I got lucky with pack pulls." Just wow. Society is in trouble.

@rageincage007_XBL
Yes, the last couple of years I was able to complete Live Series sometime in mid may. I played almost 2-3 hrs a night (most nights) and I flipped during the day.I did not complete Team Affinity either year. I did complete far enough to get Jolt cards.
I am at work right now losing ground compared to last year because I am still restricted.

@DemIsE4_XBL i agree, people like yourself, who feel they can't do something, so instead of doing something about it they complain. Have a great day. I truly hope you get LS collection completed before July.

@Tuke7-1_PSN some guy saw my team yesterday and after Pujols hit a walk off he messages me and just says “how much”. I was like nothing im basically nms and for mlb atleast I am every year. And he goes yeah right, im like man idk what else to tell u i got ridiculously lucky pulls this year. I am still al west and central away from tulo but only money I spent was like the one time offer on PlayStation where u pay like 3.99 for 8k stubs cause it’s a good deal. but besides that ive pulled 2 shohei’s 2 skenes a lindor a Marte and he was so hard to believe me for some reason he bickerd back and forth for like15 mins. I just was like dude idk what else to tell u i got lucky it doesn’t mean i spent money.

Some people do get extremely lucky at times, and if you did, that is awesome for you. I am certain there is a very small percentage of those who are allegedly NMS, who have completed the collection or are very close to completing it w/o spending money because of a hot streak.
I have watched my notifications of friends on a hot streak where it was like every 3rd notification was a diamond pull.
I work full time as well, but occasionally have the time to play at work in our lounge area, but I just haven't been lucky with any good pulls thus far. I have 14 cards remaining and without pulling any, it will run around 2.3M stubs. Lots of grinding ahead of me.

@Tuke7-1_PSN that’s awesome you have the opportunity to play at work. I unfortunately can only play on weekends usually in the summer. By the time I get home I’m so dead I just wanna eat and go to bed lol

Not always. It used to be a regular thing in the past though. My job requires a graveyard shift from 6p-6a and there are times that are unbelievably slow with nothing going on. We have our own lounge, and myself and another guy play so we kicked in and bought a PS5 to use at work.

I have been no money spent since I started playing in 2023. I relied on flipping during the day when I could at work and playing the game during the evening. I agree that something needed to be done about the bots and the inflation. Unfortunately I have been restricted making it difficult for me to even get collections on this inflated market. I agree. Let's go back to the way collections were in 23 were they were easier.
My issue with the LS collection from 22 and 23 is that those cards were basically irrelevant because of how prevalent high OVR cards were available right from the start. Even the high OVR LS cards were useless by comparison to what was available for free.
That is why the LS high end diamonds have been so expensive the last 2 seasons. In previous years, there were so many 99OVR cards released within the first few days, no one cared about those high end LS cards with the exception of Trout, Judge, and Ohtani. SDS isn't releasing those 99 cards early any longer and it is overinflating the price of cards that will be useless after the collection.

@Teak2112_MLBTS LMFAO ….post a video of any 10 pack 20 pack or 50 pack coming even close to this. made up by the same dumpster who hits .117 and decides who is meta and who isn’t…. how has the EV increased 10% since you posted? Seems super accurate

That's the point. Having those cards made the LS collection irrelevant. I got it done because I wanted the cards but there SHOULD be a reward to those who complete the collect. If those cards aren't any better than free cards they hand out then what's the point of the LS collection.
Personally, I have zero problem with the best cards, esp early in a game cycle, being locked behind a pay wall.

So, every year I buy the game and my wife gets me a 50$ PSN card to kind of jump start my team. Beyond that, I don't spend anything else. I manage to complete the LS collection with some years taking me longer than others. Last season took the longest even with pulling Ohtani on release due to the increased difficulty in flipping and so many LS cards becoming so called "gatekeepers."
I have seen videos posted at around the 2 week mark of people completing the LS collection with "No money spent," and I just don't believe it. Even today, with some prices having dropped from the release rush, the 14 most expensive cards are still running nearly 2.4 million stubs. Unless they have just gotten obscenely lucky with their pulls, I don't believe most of those claiming "NMS" are being truthful.
This is pointless, I know, just felt like ranting a bit.
I actually watch a lot of those content creators and can point out one thing most of them have in common - they are the ones who are brought in by SDS to test the game out before launch, and some of them are "partnered" with SDS and/or are influencers for The Show.
Don't you notice how none of them take a hard stand about the flaws in the game? They usually take soft stands (usually about something obvious and users already in an uproar about) that they follow up with by ending with something positive that promotes the game as a whole, despite its flaws. And they always avoid talking about the things the SDS avoids talking about.

You want flipping tips? Take a look at the market a couple of times during the day, decide what cards you want to go for, either watch the market for a little or start slow and small and work your way up.
