No Marlins Love
-
There are so many team inventory pages filled with diamond tier cards, yet Marlins fans are given 3, and 2 of them are the Team Affinity cards lol. There’s already been plenty of opportunity to give them even just a few 85’s, but apparently that’s just too rich.
For example, out of all the WBC cards they released, Miami got zero diamonds (only given 2 golds). They had two of their young stars playing in the WBC (Jakob Marsee and Agustin Ramirez), yet those names aren’t good enough apparently to get cards. Same goes for Javier Sanoja.
Another example, New Theads. I know lots of teams didn’t get cards, but this was a chance to show the teams that don’t have many diamonds in the binder some love. Miami has newcomers like: Pete Fairbanks, Christopher Morel, Esteury Ruiz, Chris Paddock. A few players who would be fun to use if given diamond tier cards early in the game, but no, Marlins get no love.
Miami is now calling up the young power hitter Deyvison De Los Santos to make his MLB Debut, and just like in years past, I highly doubt they show a young Marlins player some love by giving him a diamond tier card for whenever he has his first career hit or homer.
Please start adding more Marlins cards so us Miami fans can enjoy team builds like the rest of community. There’s plenty of great prospects and current players who can get even just low-tier diamonds, and we’d be happy with that!

Its the first month of the season they will get more cards during the All star break. -
I agree that it is a little too early to start complaining yet.
While the Marlins do currently have the lowest Diamond total (only one fewer than The Astros) they have received more total cards so far than the Astros, Twins, Rangers, and Reds. They are tied with the Nationals and the Rays.
