Are Ballin' Packs broken?

Maybe I'm the only one, but honestly I get excited when I see 2 golds in a pack. I don't care if they don't get me diamonds. This year I don't rely on them. I'm not a person who actually ever pulls diamonds or gatekeepers I just grind stubs I sell everything as I possibly can, and i'm about ninety five percent done with the world baseball classic program and i'm sitting now on 232k stubs.

Ballin is A Bad Habit. Ripped just over 30 of them since last night and 1 diamond.

Haha I remember the 'Ballin is a gold' thing, but it's never been as egregious as it is this year for me.
Well over 40 packs now without a single diamond.

I hit two diamonds...low ones, always my luck but I generally just only pull golds so I feel your pain. It's always luck of the draw. I got packs and after packs without pulling one and then pull two within three or four packs

It’s because the past couple of years they have skewed the odds of pulling a decent diamond heavily by including all diamonds, especially plenty of the 85 1.5K stub cards.
This makes pulling an 88 or higher live series diamond almost impossible, relatively speaking. It’s a good business model that pushes people towards buying stubs. Although it’s not as consumer friendly as it was even just a few years ago.
It’s frustrating but just gotta lower your expectations significantly and stay patient. Plenty of free packs to earn in game even if 99% contain nothing you actually want, need, or can sell to make stubs off.

And somehow still better than how Ballin used to be. They used to not even guarantee golds or even silvers.

I have gotten 7 live series diamonds from standard packs and 0 from ballin packs. They have been bad for a few years now.

I prefer Golden is a Habit …. But yea SDS pack odds are never equal to true mathematical odds

It’s like this every year with Ballin packs. I have pulled 1 diamond in 52 of those packs and it was a WBC 85 overall that sells for 1500 stubs. I haven’t pulled anything in my last 210 standards either. Odds all around are definitely bricked especially lately

I've pulled one Diamond in a Ballin but I've pulled 6 in the regular packs I've earned so I can't complain. I feel like it was that way last year too. I'd open dozens of Ballin and only get golds.

I hate how manipulated the odds are on live series diamonds early in the year. Makes pulling a mediocre card feel nearly impossible. Even if odds were slightly increased it would make the experience significantly more fun.

Honestly last year I feel like I got more Diamonds out of standard than Ballin packs. Ballin packs were just extra tokens after selling the gold/silvers.

Was just thinking the same thing today. I’m guessing it’s been at least 50 BIAG packs with zero diamonds so far

The fact that so many are not getting diamonds despite the odds tells me there's an issue.
I'm now at 56 packs and zero diamonds.

I opened a ballin pack the other day and actually got a diamond, I pulled yammamoto. Then in a standard pack i pulled Snell. 2 dodgers pitchers....i would love the other guy from Japan....but i can't rely on that.

I have been incredibly lucky with Ballin packs this year, I think Ive opened about 30 of them and gotten 5 diamonds
